You’’ll Never Walk Alone.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark.

At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain.

Tho’ your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone,
You’ll never walk alone.

(Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, 1945)

Introduction. With our Almighty God holding tight to us. At the end of our stormy. At the close of our windy day. We are loved. We are never alone.

Our Father sends to us His lark. As God’s greeting of His love. His lark God send to us. She merrily sings to us her sweet silver song of God’s love. God’s lark reminds us of God and His never-ending love. We are comforted and are at peace once more. We realize, something we should have never forgotten. We are not. We were not. We are never alone. For the Almighty One. Our Heavenly Father is only a prayer away. Almighty God is only a simple and a humble prayer away. We usher a loving prayer to the One who is always nearby.

No matter the rolling and the roaring of the thunder. No matter the striking and the crashing of God’s mighty lightning. No fear we hold. For the creator of this storm. Is holding us tight. Instead of fear. Wonder and awe are our emotions. And our love for their creator is increased. Through the might of His storm.

Scripture Reading: He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed. (Psalm 107:28–30, NIV)

For God and His artistry are on display. Before our eyes. Such wonder. Such glory are on display. Another roar of thunder. Another strike of lightning. Such beauty. Why? Oh! Why were we afraid? For sheer beauty is this storm! Such glory and beauty is God’s storm. Purples, whites, pinks, oranges and clashes of thunder. Such wonder and glory. Are on display just for us to see. God telling you and me. “I am here. Dear one. I am here. I am always here.”

Through sweet and loving prayer. To the One who loves us so. We are never. And never will be ALONE.

Scripture Readings: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6, NIV)

The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. (Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9, NIV)

You and I bow our heads. On bended knees. On our stormy. On our windy day. We pray! We pray to the One. Who is patiently waiting for us to speak to Him. In love and with trust in Him.

Through our prayer to Almighty God. Our Heavenly Father walks ever so close with us. So, nearby is our Father. Even a feather from His lark is unable to separate us from Him. In our moments of peaceful and quiet solitude. In our times of solitary reflection with our God. You and I find true and soothing peace. Peace that this sad and this lonely world never know.

Scripture Reading: The Lord gives strength to His people;
the Lord blesses His people with peace. (Psalm 29:11, NIV)

Our hearts open wide to the love and to the peace of God Almighty. Our souls connect us to a God who is far greater than us. Whose love is unceasing and is forgiving always. In our quiet and our loving time with God, with our Creator. We are not alone. We are never alone. We are at peace. We are strengthened once more.

Prayer transcends space, heavens and time. Our prayer time brings God to us. Prayer connects our Father to us. As nothing else can. In ushered words and unspoken thoughts. You and I share with God Almighty our hopes, our dreams, our fears and our happiness. We seek guidance. You and I beg God’s forgiveness. And so many other prayers. We usher to the One who is patiently waiting. Always patiently waiting.

What is the reward we receive? You and I receive a sense of inner peace. An inner glow. Believing. Knowing deep within our hearts. We are not. We are never alone.

When you’re lost in the dark caverns of loneliness, it’s easy to believe that you are alone and will always be alone, that you will always strain your eyes looking for a glimmer of light. You can easily believe that your suffering is meaningless and that your pain will keep you isolated forever.

But that’s not the truth! God is always with you, and He is ready to comfort you. (Bible Gateway Blog)

Our Father’s peace. Is a heartfelt connection between fallen child and Him. This loving connection is only obtained through our honest and our humble prayer life. It is only natural for all God’s beloved children to yearn for His peace. We all hunger for God’s peace more than anything else. His peace, true inner and heart soothing peace.

Scripture Reading: For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. (1 Peter 3:18, NIV)

Not only do we walk with Almighty God. We have love, such love as we have ever known in our lives.

Peace with our Father has at its center. A restoration between us. His fallen child and God. Made only possible because God’s beloved Son, Jesus wanted it so. Wanted it so — enough that He sacrificed His very life for us. And Jesus rose from death for us.
