The Old Testament is God’s love letter to His people in such a way that it shows how God created man, how He makes sure that He tends to them, and also how He saves His creations through His Son, Jesus Christ. (Glory Dy)
For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100:5, ESV)
Introduction
God uses ordinary people just as much as He used prophets, priests and kings in ancient times. To share His everlasting love and to deliver His message. God doesn’t care whether we are young, old, rich or poor. The only criteria needed. A humble and open heart. And to be completely obedient to Him and His Holy Law. To truly believe and practice what we preach.
God uses us, His ordinary, (everyday), people. To work on His behalf. There is indeed Gospel promises in the Old Testament. Jesus Christ, Himself spoke that the Old Testament revealed who He is.
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. (Luke 24:27, ESV)
