With the unceasing love of Almighty God in our hearts. On wings, as eagles, we soar.
Reflection. What Does it Mean to ‘Soar on Wings Like Eagles’?
Scripture Reading: Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31, NIV)
To soar as an eagle? We often dream of such freedom. We imagine the wind in our feathers. The sun on our backs. Warming and comforting us. It is God Himself blessing us. We picture ourselves gliding effortlessly close to our Creator God. It is the mighty and loving right hand of God Himself holding us. Under the protective hands and shield of Almighty God. Nothing can harm us. As we soar high in His heavens. Ever closer to the love and the peace of Almighty God.
All cares and worries are forgotten as if they never existed. The deep and true love of Almighty God surrounds and warms us. The soothing peace of the Almighty One is the wind that sustains our flight. The hope of eternity in His presence gives us the courage to live and to love. To soar as an eagle. Such freedom and love this brings to our hearts and souls!
