We’ll Walk with God From This Day On. His Powerful Love. We’ll Lean Upon
We lean upon God and His never-ending love.
Reflection. We are so blessed. We have a God who is righteous and good. We have a God whose love is never-ending. God is love.
Scripture Reading: Oh, thank God — He’s so good! His love never runs out. (Psalm 107:1, New International Version)
Do we realise how blessed we truly are by Almighty God? Do we? From the first moment of our waking. In the freshness of His new day. To the closing of our eyes in peaceful slumber. At the end of another day of opportunities to love and be loved. We are blessed by a God who loves us. We are loved by a God who loves us because He loves us. By His very nature, God loves. For God is love.
Almighty God does not choose to love us. God is love. Almighty God’s very character is LOVE. It may be a little difficult for us to understand this.
The Nature of God’s Love
At its core, the statement “God is love” means that love is an essential attribute of God’s character. It is not merely one of His many characteristics but is central to who He is. According to 1 John 4:16, “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” This tells us that God’s actions are always rooted in love, encompassing His holiness, righteousness, and justice. (Christianity Blog)
For all true and faithful believers, this is such a comfort. We are comforted by this concept. Everything our Father God does. God does everything through His love for us. When we kneel before His heavenly throne in prayer. We believe deep in our hearts. God Almighty hears and answers all prayers. We believe deep in our hearts. God by His love for us is patiently waiting. God is always there in Heaven listening with open heart. God’s heart is filled with love for us. He is always listening to our prayers.
Not only does God our Father hear and answer all our prayers. God Almighty answers our prayers according to what He knows is best for us. All prayers are answered through His love. At times we may be a little impatient. Then we remember all the prayers God Almighty has answered. We recall the love God has softly poured into our hearts. We remember God is always nearby. We wait patiently for Almighty God’s answer. Knowing it will be in line with His divine plan for us.
God is Love. The Transformative Power of God’s Love.
We are all on our spiritual journey. We travel our path of faith at times alone. Yes, we have God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Word of God to turn to as and when needed. Jesus is our best friend and closest companion. Yet, still, at times we feel we are travelling alone.
Think about it this way: before understanding God’s love, our lives might be filled with self-centeredness, fear, and insecurity. But when we accept His love, we are filled with His grace, peace, and a sense of purpose. This transformation isn’t just a one-time event; it’s a continuous journey. Each day, as we live out this love, we become more patient, more forgiving, and more compassionate. (Christianity Blog)
Every time we reach for and read God’s Holy Word. Jesus our Great Teacher has another lesson to teach us.
Every word in the Bible is a step on our spiritual path. Every step taken we hold fast to the strong and mighty hand of Almighty God. No, we are never alone. Almighty God never leaves us to struggle alone.
Scripture Readings: We are not alone! God is there to provide “mercy and… grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). Later, Paul writes, “For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’” (Hebrews 13:5). Thus, Peter advises, “ [Cast] all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (I Peter 5:7). Conclusion. As we wait. We trust in God’s Word. We remember. God is love. By His very nature, God loves us.
We also look deeply into our hearts. We acknowledge that God’s love we do not deserve. For we have hurt Him through our sins so many, many times. But, in His Word are words of reassurance. God loves us despite our sins.
We are loved. Deeply, intimately and personally loved by our Heavenly Father.
The protagonist sings about how he will rely on God’s help and guidance from now on, asking for God to always be with him. He believes that there is no true death and no fear when he is close to God, and promises to never walk alone as
Along as he walks with God. (Bing, 01/08/2024)
