We Indeed Shall Work Miracles. With Faith in Jesus

Reflection. We can still the storm and calm the waves. When we have true faith in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it. (John 14:12–14, NIV)

This empowering verse of Saint John. Has such far reaching and such profound blessings. Every person who truly places their belief and their absolute trust in Jesus. Each true believer in the genuine Worker of Miracles, Jesus our Lord. When placing our sincere faith in Jesus. We believe. Yes, we truly believe with all our hearts. We shall indeed do the mighty and miraculous works of Jesus. Yes, even greater deeds than these shall be performed. By those who place our love, our trust and our faith in Jesus Christ.

This empowering and inspiring verse in chapter fourteen of Saint John. Tells us we “will do the works” of Jesus. We are created in the very likeness of God Himself. With the many attributes of God. We have the power of God the Holy Spirit dwelling within us to carry on. The strength of God Himself to carry on. When we are too weak to carry on alone. Jesus gives us the power, the strength and the wisdom to perform His miracles.

This uplifting verse in Saint John tells each true disciple of Jesus. That our faith in Him will see us doing “even greater things” than Jesus. As we look at the modern world of technology and science. We see these prophetic words coming true each and every day.

Doctors, scientists and many others. With the aid of modern technology. Are indeed performing miracles each day.

Christian doctors are replacing hearts. Giving their patients a chance to live. Christian scientists are finding cures to such as cancer. With the aid of modern tools and research. Finding cures. If not cures. At least the easing of pain and the suffering of their patients. Finding the cure of diseases once thought incurable.

Christian scientists are staring into God’s cosmos as never before. With the use of modern telescopes and super computers. We can now see the beginning of time and space. Yes, we can see the moment. That God the Creator created all there is. What a wonder. What a miracle this is. To be able to witness the moment of creation.

For, me this is only the beginning. With the true Worker of Miracles on the side of doctors, scientist and others. This is only the beginning. We shall find the cure for diseases we first thought incurable. We shall walk where man thought we will never tread. If only we could find a cure for war and conflict. WOULD THAT NOT BE SOMETHING???

Doctors and others are finding better medications and treatments for mental disorders and diseases. Easing once more the suffering of their patients and families. This once hidden illness is now recognized and treated as never before. People are not now hidden away in horrid mental asylums. But are treated with respect and dignity. As indeed they should be. These people are given the chance to live full and active lives. Where once they were hidden away as if they were possessed. Yes, a true miracle.

In Luke 11:14–20, Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed. But some of them said, “By Beelzebul, the prince of demons, He is driving out demons” (Bible Study Tools Blog)

Life it appears to be. Is a constant series of storms. Many nights we pray. Many nights there is much to fear. In our hearts a hopeful prayer. To Jesus the One true Worker of Miracles.

Jesus stilled the storm (Matthew 8:23–27.)

Then He got into the boat and His disciples followed Him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!”

It is so very true. We know not what miracles we shall perform. By placing our complete faith in Jesus. The One ultimate Worker of Miracles.

On our stormy nights. We kneel before Jesus. We place our faith in the Worker of Miracles.

As the roaring of the thunder. Threatens to drown out the loving voice of God our Father. As the waves of life’s troubles crash in all around us. The peace and the mighty power of Jesus calms the waves. The love of Jesus the Worker of Miracles drowns out the thunder. The hand of Jesus our Lord stills the waves of our troubles. Our life once more is calm and still. Our heart once more is filled with the love of our Lord. Our day is saturated with the peace of Jesus our Lord.

Conclusion. We Indeed Shall Work Miracles. With Faith in Jesus.
