A Poem on the Kingdom of God
Awaken with a gladsome mind to greet the new day of My coming — little by little, one step at a time, inching forward into the Kingdom of My presence; learning of My love, My fellowship, My hand in yours, so you do not falter nor fall apart, do not waver nor ascend the wrong mountain track where thistles will choke you. Introduction.
God’s Kingdom is so close. We can reach out our hand and touch it.
God our Father and Christ has prepared for us. His Kingdom of love. His eternal Kingdom of rest and peace.
Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Matthew 25:34b, ESV)
Christ’s “gospel”, means good news. And, such good news He brings to all mankind. Throughout Jesus’ powerful ministry. His eternal message of hope and love. Jesus’ message of the Kingdom of God, is central to and an essential part of Jesus’ ministry.
Soon afterward He went on through cities and villages, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the Kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him, (Luke 8:1, ESV)
