We are Loved. We are Truly Loved. Jesus Reaches Out
Our Heavenly Father loves each person. God sent His one and only Son, Jesus. To reconcile us to Our Father forever more.
Jesus Loves Me.
I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n
Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n.
Wonderful things in the Bible I see,
This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me,
Jesus loves even me.(Philip P. Bliss, July 1938)
Reflection. God our Heavenly Father tells of His love in a book.
Scripture Readings: All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV)
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12, ESV)
For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21, ESV)
God the Creator of all there is. God Almighty. God the Creator of all there ever will be. The Almighty One speaks of His love in a book. The Holy Word of God was written by God out of His love. God is love. God penned His love for you and for me in a book. Each chapter. Every book. Every verse and every word tell of God’s love.
As we read our precious and our beloved Bible. You and I read each book and every chapter in an attitude of true reverence. For we remember God poured Himself into His book. For God is love. God’s Holy Word was penned with the ink of His unceasing love. With the Finger of God. God’s Holy Scriptures were written. With you and I in mind. God wrote His text from the heart of His love. Each word was dedicated to you and to me. Not a word was spoken. That was not spoken through the love of God our Father.
Yes, in true reverence and in sincere awe. We read the Holy Word of God. In a posture of sincere thanksgiving. We read our Bible. In a position of worship and a prayer of praise. We cherish every text. The Holy Word of God speaks of the love of God into our hearts.
We take with us each chapter and every phrase. As our weapon against the forces of darkness. Believing, always believing. The devil and his demons will flee. When we are armed with the Holy Word of God. God Almighty does not leave us to battle the forces of darkness alone. God gives us His Holy Word. The devil and his army flee before us defenseless.
Scripture Readings: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7, NIV)
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:11–13, KJV)
You and I are loved. We are loved as never before. By Almighty God.
You, I and all God’s beloved children. We have one burning question in our hearts. What does it mean to be truly loved by our Heavenly Father? How do we really know? God Almighty loves us before all else. How do we truly know?
God’s love for us is shown through a cross. Almighty God speaks of His love through the saving grace of His Son Jesus. No greater love is there than this. God sacrificed His one and only beloved Son. Jesus came down from Heaven for all humanity. Jesus came for those who choose to accept God’s offer.
No greater love is there than this. God sent His Son as our Redeemer. As a chance for all humanity to be reconciled with their creator. All God’s people have an invitation to be re-united with Him forever more. No greater love is there than this. God sent His beloved Son to live amongst us. To understand what we suffer and what pain we carry. No greater love is there than this. Jesus suffered and died on His wicked and soul-saving cross. So, we shall live forever with Him and our Father, God in Paradise. No greater love is there than this.
Scripture Reading: Because God’s number one priority is to display His glory, He created human beings in His image to reflect that glory (Gen 1:26–31.) But because of our sin, we have fallen short of reflecting God’s glory as we should (Rom 3:23.) Therefore, God sent His son Jesus as “the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation” (Col 1:15. ESV.) (Bing, 16/06/2024)
God our Heavenly Father sent us His Messiah.
Scripture Reading: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23, ESV)
As true children of God. We thank our Father each day for the gift He gave us. On that first Christmas night. On that wondrous night. Our Messiah was born. The angels sang of Jesus’s glory. The shepherds left their flock to see their Messiah. The Wise Men followed the star from afar. To see for themselves the Savior of the world.
Oh! If only we could have been there. But wait. In a real way we can. Through the Holy Word of God, we can. Whenever we pick up our copy of God’s Scriptures. And turn to the Gospels and read the relevant text. We are there. We are there, with Mary, Joseph and our blessed Messiah. We are there with our heads bowed low before our Savior.
What a privilege. What a blessing it is. To be able to read of our Lord’s birth. To be able to see Him in His manger. To be with the shepherds. As they see their Messiah for the very first time. To be with the wise men. As they present their gifts to our Savior. Yes, we are there. If only for a moment or two we are there. May God the Almighty be praised. AMEN!
Scripture Reading: And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered Him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. (Matthew 2:11, ESV)
