Miracle.

A time where heartbreak is no longer here
We will come out stronger.
We will make it through the storm
Together we can conquer all.

Where there is love, there will be life
Where there is life, there will be freedom.
Where there is faith, nothing is impossible
Don’t be afraid!

(Ellie Goulding, 2023)

Reflection. Our deepest heartache and our darkest despair. Are life’s truest lessons. Which strengthen our trust and our faith in our Lord.

Scripture Readings: These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation but take courage; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33, ISV)

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37)

Life’s heartbreaking lessons build our love for and in Jesus. These times of struggle. Intensify and sustain our faith in our Redeemer. With Jesus’ hand in ours. “We will make it through the storm.” With Jesus as our faithful companion. Indeed, it is true “we can conquer all.”

It is true. As followers of Jesus. We face the same struggles and heartaches as do all people of God. The difference being. We have Jesus as our Mentor. Our Lord is our ever-faithful companion. God gave us Jesus’ Spirit to comfort, to strengthen and to guide us. God the Holy Spirit is here as and when needed. With God we indeed are able to do anything. With God the Holy Spirit we are conquerors over heartache and despair. “We will make it through the storm.”

It is in times of heartache and despair. We kneel before Almighty God in prayer. We ask our Father for the help and the love of His beloved Son Jesus. We place our complete and absolute faith in Jesus. Believing Jesus understands. Jesus truly understands. There is nothing we are suffering and struggling through. Nothing we are dealing with. That Jesus our Lord has not already felt and conquered.

We read of the life of Jesus in His Gospels. Jesus suffered. Oh! How are beloved Lord suffered. Jesus was hungry and was thirsty. Oh! How our precious Lord hungered. For forty dry and hot days. For forty long and lonely nights. Jesus fasted without food or water. Have we ever been this hungry or thirsty? Probably not. I pray not. Jesus led a nomadic life. With no permanent home. No place to lay His weary head. We should be thankful for our home. No matter how humble. Are we? Jesus our Savior was ridiculed, tortured, and killed. May God be praised. We have never suffered as did our precious Lord.

Scripture Reading: In the Bible, Jesus says, “The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man hath nowhere to lay His head.” This statement is found in Matthew 8:20, KJV) (Bing, 13/06/2024)

Jesus came down from Heaven to understand. What it truly means to be human. There is nothing which you and I can possibly suffer. That Jesus has not already suffered. Jesus truly does understand. Believing in Jesus’ understanding our heartache and our despair. We place our faith in our Great Healer. Believing in Jesus’ compassion. We place our trust in our Great Mediator. Believing in the sacrifice He paid for our eternal souls. We place our eternal soul in the hands of our Redeemer. Believing in the love of God the Son. We place our all-in all, in Jesus Christ the beloved Son of God.

We believe. Yes! We believe. In the Holy Name of Jesus. We sing His praise forever and forever more. AMEN!

Placing our complete and absolute faith in Jesus our Lord. Brings us the power to stand firm. Gives us the power to achieve miracles. In the Holy Name of Jesus.

Scripture Reading: And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.’ (Matthew 21:21, ESV)

I do not know about you. I love to read of the many times Jesus performed His miracles. The wonderful healings Jesus performed. I can only imagine the love for Jesus. The people who were healed felt. The love they held for the Great Healer. From being bed bound. To leaping for joy. From being either blind or deaf. To being able to see and to hear the beloved face and voice of their healer.

We can only imagine. But wait. Why be satisfied with merely reading of Jesus’ miracles in His Gospels? When through the Holy Name of Jesus. You and I can achieve such wonders and even more. We, with absolute faith in Jesus. Can heal a loved one. Or even ourselves. It is a matter of prayer. Through prayer to God Almighty for a miracle.

A powerful and direct prayer to Almighty God for a miracle. A prayer combined with much Bible reading. With the combined assistance from God the Holy Spirit. Seeking His guidance, strength and comfort. All prayers are answered. This we remember. All prayers are answered according to God’s Holy purpose.

We wait patiently for God’s answer. Never. Never for a moment doubting that God will answer. Never. Never for a moment doubting that the answer will indeed be a miracle. Never. Never for a moment do we stop thanking God for answering our little prayer. Never. Never for a moment. Do we doubt Jesus is able to achieve this miracle on our behalf. Then this miracle is achieved. In the Holy Name of Jesus. A miracle.
