“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
God’s Holy Word lights our way.
THIS ARTICLE IS WRITTEN AND PROVIDED BY TALENT UMOH.
The book of Jeremiah 20:10(B) reads, “All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Paraventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.”
Behold, behold the King’s son (Talent Umoh) being flabbergasted, and compelled to keep his mouth agape, as he swims across the stream of sadness that springs from the strayed, evil children of this world; who are born with the mentality of building the Tower of Babel, that is contrary to the vision/perfect will of God.
The reason is not far-fetched as people’s mindset in reading the penned-down messages of the Kingdom of God is innuendo. People are no longer reading the words of God to use its light/lamp — which thoroughly defines God’s word, to see through the dark path of their sinful lives, detect/rectify all errors, and avoid, eschewing them to the glory of God.
Instead of studying God’s word to derive soul salvation, they prefer reading the word of God for halting.
Psalm 119:104–105 reads, “Through thy precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
Ezekiel 33:30–33 reads, “Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, everyone to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what the word that cometh forth from the LORD is.
And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
And, lo, thou art unto them as a lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) they know that a prophet hath been among them.”
By right, people are supposed to look up to the serpent of brass up on a pole to receive their salvation; looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith which is achievable through the reading of the word of God (Numbers 21:9, Hebrews 12:2, John 3:14 & Isaiah 45:22).
It is wrong for people to boycott the right way of reading the word of God to derive benefits. They decide to read the word for them to examine the grammatical construction fitness, and capability of the publisher and dig up the errors, faults, mistakes; as they are watching, waiting for any lop hole/flaws of the writer of the word of God, that they might trap the preachers, and get revenge on the messengers of the Lord.
Sadly, this evil agenda is normally carried out by the friends and associates of the men and women of God who serve as workers in the vineyard of the Lord God of hosts. Psalm 55:12–15 reads, “For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
We took sweet counsel together and walked unto the house of God in company.
Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.”
Lord, save my life from the hands of fake brethren. Amen! Cotammer Sacasicasia Comtempoloziqilo Compensubera Asamasanz Tanzamaziah.
