Thomas, Doubting Apostle? Faithful Missionary of Jesus, our Lord
Thomas becomes a great missionary.
Thomas was one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus. The Gospel of John mentions quite a lot about him.
Let us meet Thomas, a faithful and devoted follower of Jesus his Lord, his God. Did Thomas deserve his nickname: “doubting Thomas?” Thomas was a man who had a great deal of love to give. He was a man who was not afraid to put his life on the line for the sake of those he dearly loved. Yes, indeed, Thomas was a Saint. Yet because of one question, a short moment of human weakness and doubt, his nickname followed him down through the ages. Is this fair? I think not!
Christ’s beloved Apostle, John, speaks widely of Thomas in his Gospel.

John reports that Thomas was not among the privileged disciples to whom Jesus first appeared after His miraculous resurrection. Upon being told of this miracle, Thomas replied:
