Reflection. Almighty God provides truth and wisdom through His Holy Word.
Scripture Reading: Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105, ESV)
It has been on my mind for the last few days. What is Almighty God truly telling us? When He says, His Word is a lamp to our feet?
If I may. In this article, we shall ponder on King David’s verse. We shall break this verse up. We shall study and see the light and the love of God our Creator.
King David’s Psalm 119 verse 105 is so rich in its meaning. This verse shows the love and the light of Almighty God.
The Hebrew for word in this verse is dabar. It refers to words spoken by God Himself or divine revelation. (The Faith Space Blog)
When David wrote, “Your Word,” he used the Hebrew word dabar. Telling everyone who read this psalm. The divine and sacred Word of God was being spoken. God Himself is the lamp David was referring to. What is the Word of God? The Holy Word of God is the Holy Scriptures.
