Scripture Reading: “He Is Risen” is the declaration that while Jesus sacrificed Himself for our sins, He lives now and forever as the Son of God. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen.” as he said. (Matthew 28:5, ESV)

Reflection. The Lord Jesus saves us from the power of darkness. For all those who come to Almighty God through Him

Matthew 28:5 is a verse in the Bible. According to one interpretation, the verse is about the resurrection of Christ, which is the joy and consolation of His friends, the ground of their confidence and hope, and the source of their comfort and felicity, for time and eternity1. Another interpretation is that the verse speaks about the women who deserved to be the first witnesses of the resurrection of Christ, as they ministered to Him during life and were not divided in death2. According to a third interpretation, the resurrection of Christ proved that His death was an actual propitiation for sin and that the Father had accepted it as such. (Bing, 28/11/2024)

He has risen! Such joy this brings to our hearts. He has risen!
