Trust God’s love. His perfect love. Don’t fear He will discover your past. He already has. Don’t fear disappointing Him in the future. He can show you the chapter in which you will. With perfect knowledge of the past and perfect vision of the future, He loves you perfectly in spite of both. (Max Lucado)

MAY THE GOD OF LOVE. SEND HIS LIMITLESS LOVE TO YOU.

Reflection. Amidst our times of trials and deepest despair. God’s everlasting love is there to comfort and give us peace.

Scripture Reading: The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued My faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3, ESV)

I have experienced a time in my life. When life shattered my heart. When life seemed to be so very dark. When everywhere I looked. All there was seemed empty and nothingness followed me. I felt so terribly alone. I wanted to be left in my aloneness. I felt comfortable in my aloneness. The pit I had dug for myself. Seemed all that I had.

Scripture Reading: Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34, NIV)

Where could I go for comfort? Who could I turn to? To ease my pain. Was there anyone out there? Who could take away my feeling of aloneness? Was there anyone out there to love one such as I? Was there a One who truly loved me? Is there a One who truly cares for a person such as me?

Then a familiar stirring within my soul. A familiar soft, small voice from within my heart. I paused my crying, for just a moment. This voice I knew was the voice of God. I had heard this soft, small voice before. I must sit still and listen to this voice of love. I must listen. I must. What is this I hear? Almighty God loves me. The Creator of all there is. He loves me.

Yes, there is someone out there who loves you. Yes, there is someone who listens to your cries of aloneness. Who is He? He is Almighty God. He is the Sovereign/Supreme ruler of everything. He is the One who loves you as no other. He is the One who will never leave you.

Scripture Reading: Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. (Deuteronomy 31:6, KJV)

We sit quietly in Almighty God’s presence. We sit quietly with God for a little while in prayer. Just being with God in prayer is enough. Just being with God in His Holy presence is always enough. To feel God’s love surround us. To feel God’s love saturate our very being. Is more than enough.

To stand on the Holy Ground of God’s presence once more. Is more than enough. To feel the peace of God’s love saturate our entire being. Is more than we deserve. We sit quietly in prayer. We sit quietly in God’s Holy and loving presence. We stand on the Holy Ground of Almighty God’s everlasting love.

Why? Oh! Why did we ever doubt God’s love? God and His love were always here for us. It was us who turned our backs on the One who loves us so much. It was us who doubted the One who loves us with His everlasting love. Oh! God our Father we beg your forgiveness for ever doubting your love.

Life has its share of heartaches and sadness. With God’s everlasting love. We never fear what our future has in store for us.

Scripture Reading: Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with My victorious right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, NLT)

Almighty God never promised us that life would be a “bed of roses.” What God does promise, is that when sadness and heartaches come. God is here with us. God reaches out His hand to help us through. He has given us a helper. Almighty God has placed in our hearts. A mighty and powerful helper in the form of His Spirit.

Even when we are at a loss for words to pray to God. The Spirit of God intercedes on our behalf. God’s Spirit prays a perfect prayer for us. Praying for what is needed at the time. We are strengthened and we are given the courage we need. Yes, God reads our hearts. No, matter what life throws at us. With Almighty God beside us, we are victorious — ALWAYS!

With God the Holy Spirit, we are victorious.

Scripture Reading: But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (John 14:26, ESV)

We are dedicated and devoted followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are called by Jesus to do as He did. To spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. To heal the sick and comfort the lonely. To love the loveless and touch the untouchable. He knows. Oh! Yes! Jesus knows we are unable to do this alone. Jesus asked Almighty God to send us a helper. God placed in our hearts. God the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom of Jesus. To give us the knowledge needed. When ministering to others, God the Holy Spirit reminds us of the Biblical texts needed.

When we are comforting a loved one. God the Holy Spirit gives us the peace to pass on to her. He gives us the words of love needed in her time of aloneness. God’s Spirit fills you with the courage to face her tears. To say the words needed to replace her sadness with the gentle joy of God’s love. God’s Spirit fills you with the love of God. To give her the love and the time she needs. This is all that she needed. Your time and your love. Your reward. A gentle smile is seen on her face. She is loved. That is all she needed.

Conclusion. The Love of Almighty God Fills Our Hearts. The love of Almighty God will endure in our hearts forever more.

The more we love, the more love we have to offer. So it is with God’s love for us. It is inexhaustible. (Mary C. Neal)

We all have times in our lives when despair and loneliness take over. This is when the everlasting love of God is needed the most. This is when we turn to Almighty God in prayer. We are reassured once more we are never alone. Almighty God and His love is never more than a word, a prayer away.
