The Light of Jesus Fills our Hearts
When sinking in life’s trials. Believe in the light of Jesus. Jesus lifts us up out of the darkness.
Believe in Something.

Reflection. Yes! We are children of God. Yes! We are children of the light. Jesus our Immanuel. Jesus has indeed rescued us from the darkness of our sin. We have the blessed light of eternal life. Through the saving grace of Jesus.
Scripture Readings: As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (John 9:5, ESV)
When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12, NIV)
Jesus the Great Teacher tells us in His Gospels. He is our light, and He is our truth. With Jesus we have the light of eternal life through His saving grace. No greater teacher is there. Jesus brought Heaven down to us. Jesus brought the Kingdom of God to us. No greater teacher is there.
From the moment we accepted the Savior of mankind as our personal Lord, as our God. From the moment of our transformation. We stepped from our darkness into Jesus’ light. We walk eternally in the light of Jesus. We walk each day in the presence of Jesus, God the Son. We abide each day in the Kingdom of God. Heaven is our Home now. Right here. Right now. Jesus brought Heaven down to us. The Kingdom of God is our current Home. We no longer belong to this world. We walk alongside Jesus. Jesus is our light and is our life. Jesus Christ is our beloved — ALWAYS.

We are loved. We are truly loved. You, I, and all those who have accepted Jesus. All those who have Christ as their personal Savior are so blessed. We live in the light of Jesus’ redeeming love. We share this blessing in fellowship with one another. Our sins are washed away. We are cleansed in the perfect blood of the Lamb of God. We are washed clean in the precious blood of Jesus our Redeemer. From the moment of our salvation. Till eternity we live in the light of our Redeemer. No greater love is there.
We are children of our Heavenly Father. We live in the light of Jesus’ love. We are children of the light. You and I are the life of His light.
Saint Paul in his letter Ephesians chapter five. Calls Jesus’ faithful believers. To live in the light of Jesus’ love. Imitating God Almighty and His beloved Son Jesus our Redeemer. Our lives are to be. Each day righteous and holy. In each action we take. In every word we speak. We are called to reflect the light of Jesus our Master. Living as devoted children of light. Dedicated children of the life of the light. Holy and righteous at all times.
How to abide in the light of Jesus. How??? Always! Always put Almighty God first — ALWAYS.

Placing Almighty God as our number one priority is quite simple in its implementation. Yet at the same time, profound in its rewards. As we awake each morning. A prayer of thanksgiving is the first words on our lips. A simple routine. Which once mastered. Makes each morning a joy and a blessing.
As we rise to meet our brand-new day. We reach for our somewhat worn Bible. God the Holy Spirit lets it fall open to God’s chosen text. We read His chosen words and let them soak into our hearts. We treasure each word God speaks to us. Such a blessed way to start our day. God loves us so. God wrote His Word for us to read at the start of each day. God our Father speaks His Word into our hearts. God loves us so. God wrote His Word into our hearts.
Scripture Reading: The Lord’s mercies never fail and are restored with every rising sun. (Lamentations 3:22–23, ESV)
Beautiful and reassuring Bible texts such as this. Brings a step of joy through our day. Starting each day with Bible texts of the love of God. God’s Holy Word gives us the strength to face our day. No matter what comes our way. God’s Word is here for us. Each day is begun with a Word of the love of God. When started with the Holy Word of God. We are washed with the love of God. No truer love is there.
Scripture Reading: For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7, ESV)
As we step through God’s brand-new day. Armed with God’s Holy Word. We are faced with times of happiness. Sadly, we are at times overcome with moments of tragedy and days of heartache. We have no fear. Yes, there is in this life much to fear. But when armed with the Holy Word of God. When we have the power of prayer to God Almighty God. When we have the comfort, the strength and the support of God the Holy Spirit. We have no fear. We have the mighty power and the love of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We have no fear.
You and I are equipped with the loving Bible verses we read at the beginning of our day. We speak these words. We feel the power of God’s words. We feel in our hearts the love of our God. The power of the tragedy and our heartache have no hold on us. The power of God’s Holy Word overtakes all that threatens our closeness to God.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31, NIV)
Conclusion. With God Almighty. With the Holy Word of God. We soar as eagles.
