The Glory of God. Is the Light in Our Hearts
The radiance of Almighty God is more brilliant than the Sun.
Scripture Reading: His radiance is like the sunlight;
He has rays flashing from His hand,
And there is the hiding of His power. (Habakkuk 3:4, ESV)
Reflection. Rely upon the mercy and grace of Almighty God.
Today many focus completely on God’s mercy and grace. Too many believers focus on our Heavenly Father’s love and forgiveness. And the good side of His benefits and rewards. At times, we choose to ignore or push aside the justice of God. A well-balanced view of God needs to recognise both sides. We need to accept God’s mercy and love. We praise and worship God’s holy name, always for these blessings.
God’s discipline is a demonstration of His love. It is a lesson to be taken with us, for the rest of our lives.
The problems of this world and personal situations. Are quite overwhelming to us. This is a necessary part of life. You and I rely upon the mercy of Almighty God. The wrath of our Heavenly Father is necessary also. It is like the discipline we show to our children.
