Be Still. My Soul. God is love. Our hope is in Him.

Be Still, My Soul.

Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

(Jane L. Borthwick, 1855)

Reflection and opening prayer.

Oh! Lord my Heavenly Father.

You are my beloved.

Almighty God, you are my eternal hope.

In you. I have faith, truth, hope and life eternal.

IN THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS. AMEN!

Angels Escort Us to Our Heavenly Home at Journey’s End.

There is a moment in every person’s life. When we reach the end of our journey on this Earth. It is a moment that we all ultimately face. It is a moment that fills us with mixed emotions. For some, it’s a moment of peace. While for others, it’s a moment of fear and uncertainty. However, one thing is certain — at journeys end, Almighty God sends His heavenly angels to escort us to our ultimate destination — our Heavenly Home.

The angels come to offer solace and guidance to the souls that are leaving this world. Helping them to transition from earthly life to eternal life. They serve as a beacon of hope for those who are making their final journey. Easing their fears and reminding them of God’s love.

The role of an angel is essential in escorting souls to their Heavenly Home. They are tasked with ensuring that the journey is as smooth and peaceful as possible, removing any obstacles or hindrances that may impede the soul’s progress. The angels take great care to guide the soul on their journey Home. Gently leading them towards the light. Helping them to leave behind their earthly concerns.

At journey’s end, the angels await us in all their glory. With open wings, ready to whisk us off to the arms of the almighty. They are a comforting presence, a reminder that we are not alone. The Lord watches over us.

For those of us who have lost loved ones. The idea of the angels escorting them to their Heavenly Home brings peace and comfort. Knowing angels are guiding our loved ones. They are with the Lord, helps to ease the pain and sadness that we feel.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. (Psalm 34:7, ESV)

Ultimately, the thought of angels escorting us to our Heavenly Home offers hope and reassurance. As we face the end of our journey. We can take comfort in the knowledge the Lord has sent his angels to guide us Home. We know we are not alone. We will be welcomed by the arms of a loving God.

In conclusion, Angels are the divine escorts that guide us to our final destination.

They remind us that as we journey through life. We are never alone, and that the Lord’s love and protection are always with us. At journey’s end, they help us to transition from this world to eternal life. Offering solace, guidance, and comfort along the way. With the angels by our side, we can face our final moments with courage. Knowing that the Lord is watching over us, and that our eternal home awaits.

Scripture Reading: Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14, ESV)

Dedication to Davies Balkan: Davies is a special and such a dear friend. He is a devoted and a dedicated child of God Almighty. Davies serves our Heavenly Father every day of his life. By caring for the needs of others. Above the needs of himself — ALWAYS. Davies’ love for our Heavenly Father speaks through every word above. I pray you are touched by his words. As am I. In God Almighty we place our future. In God Almighty we place our faith and our trust — AWAYS!

Scripture Reading: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Romans 15:13, ESV)

We have a God who knows all our days. Almighty God lives outside our time. We do not understand God’s time. But He understands our time. Before you and I were born. God the Creator planned, designed and created a plan for us. This is how much God the Creator loves each of His people. He has a sacred and a divine plan and a purpose for each of us. This plan was laid out for us before our birth. Such is the power, the might and the love of our Creator, God.

Certainly! The Bible contains verses that affirm God’s knowledge of us even before our birth. One such verse is Jeremiah 1:5, which says: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”1 This passage emphasizes God’s intimate knowledge and purpose for each individual, even before their physical existence. (Bing, 22/06/2024)

This verse and other such verses in the Holy Word of God. Offers us such comfort and calming peace. It also shows us hope for the future. Because these verses reassure us of God’s sacred and divine “purpose for each individual.” Meaning we need not worry or be anxious about our future. God holds our future in His hands. Just as He does the present. This belief brings us soothing peace. Giving us the strength to carry on with the loving service of completing God’s work.

This belief becomes essential as our journey’s end nears. When others fret and are frightened by what lays ahead. We are comforted by the belief. God holds our future in His caring and loving hands. God our Heavenly Father holds our life and our future in His hands. Death holds no fear for us. In fact we welcome death. We are eager to live for eternity with Almighty God in His Paradise. We are eager to live for eternity praising and worshiping the One who is waiting for us. We believe with all our hearts in the One who places His hope in our hearts.

Till our journey’s end. We live our lives in the comfort and the peace God has a sacred and a divine plan for each of His children. We learn of God’s plan by daily prayer and diligent Bible study. And by constant obedience to God’s Holy Law. We know this is not always easy. Our belief in God Almighty. Our faith in His promise. We are never alone. Brings to us the courage and the strength to face head on whatever comes our way. We are never alone. Almighty God reaches down from His Heaven. God’s hand reaches down and guides us on our way — ALWAYS.

Scripture Reading: The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; 24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. (Psalm 37:23–24, ESV)
