Step Into God’s Loving Presence Through Prayer
Step Into God’s Loving Presence Through Prayer.
“Don’t ask God to GUIDE YOUR STEPS. If you are not willing to TAKE A WALK.” (Michael McAfee)
WALK INTO THE LOVING PRESENCE OF GOD. KNEEL BEFORE HIM IN PRAYER.
Reflection. As you wake. PRAY. Before you sleep. PRAY.
“Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening.” ( Mahatma Gandhi)
Enter into the Powerful Presence of God is Prayer
Sit quietly with Almighty God. Kneel before the Heavenly throne of the Most High God. Breathe in deeply of God’s most Holy Word. Walk in the intimate presence of your Lord and God.
Prayer is a gift from a God who deeply loves you. Prayer is a blessing that opens the door into His Holy presence. Through prayer, you walk with the One who loves you more than mere words can express. Your God, your Heavenly Father.
Scripture Reading: You Will Not Abandon My Soul
“A Miktam of David.
You make known to me the path of life.
in Your presence there is fullness of joy.
at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalm 16:11, ESV)
Do you feel God as an ever-present hunger in your heart? God’s presence is your Home. God’s presence is a “fire in your soul.” Almighty God. God demands of you. That God, He is a heartfelt burning desire in your soul. That Almighty God is your greatest priority each morning. You long deeply just to be close to Him. To simply feel God’s nearness. For the Almighty One to be alive, truly be alive for you every moment. God is all that you seek.
God, the eternal and redemptive Lord. The Almighty One is the pure, living and eternal water you thirst for. God is the bread from Heaven you hunger for. He is like no other. God Almighty gives you manna from Heaven each day. To nourish your heart and soul. Your Father is the sun that lights your day. The moon that guides your feet at night. You can, you shall, and you do live and walk in God’s presence all your days.
Scripture Reading:
“And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:17–18, ESV)
A gift from your Creator God. Strolling on a beautiful beach on a clear and starry night. Almighty God has blessed you with a full and bright moon. What a wonder to behold. Our creator hung His light in the night sky, and it was named the MOON. You glance down at the surf. Reflected here is the beauty of God’s moon and His stars. What a privilege. A blessing. A true gift of love from God.
You seek Almighty God with all your heart. You pray continually for His Holy presence.
Scripture Reading:
“Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8, NIV)
The closeness. The love you feel when spending time with God. When quietly reading His precious Word. God’s Spirit guides you to the verse your Lord needs you to read and learn from. God’s Spirit stirs within yours. A divine connection between the Eternal and you.
Scripture Reading:
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him,
to all who call on Him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18, ESV)
Almighty God’s Word of love is combining your world with His.
You hug your Bible close to your heart. You lovingly memorise a verse or two. You picture your Lord walking ahead of His sheep, as your Good Shepherd, in Psalm 23. You picture yourself walking and communing with God in His perfect Garden. His rainbow in the clouds, God paints just for you. You pray quietly with Jesus in His solitary place. All this and more, God writes in His Holy Word of LOVE. You draw near to God, as you read hungrily His Word of LOVE.
Scripture Readings:
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8, ESV)
“And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, He departed and went out to a desolate place, and there He prayed.” (Mark 1:35, ESV)
Peace, soothing and calming peace gained in the presence of God. Rest as never felt before in the loving arms of your Father.
Scripture Reading:
“And He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14, ESV)
Familiar verses from the Holy Word of God. Recited many times. It brings such comfort and soothing peace. God, the Holy Spirit, provides His strength and comfort from within. You even giggle to yourself, the dog’s barking must be even louder for the owner, yes.
Scripture Reading:
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27, ESV)
You share God’s blessings of peace and rest with your neighbour. What if?? What if?? What if?? It is the next day. We take a slice or two of our freshly baked cake. Put on our genuine smile and knock.
He looks somewhat apprehensive. Expecting complaints, you guess. Instead, a slice of freshly baked cake and a neighbourly chat for a moment or two. It turns out he is very lonely. A few moments of God’s love given may be all this man needs to lead Him Home to God, His Father. Perhaps God has used you as His tool. Perhaps? Perhaps? Perhaps!
Scripture Reading:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.” (Matthew 5:14–16, ESV)
Conclusion. Step Into God’s Loving Presence Through Prayer. Step Into God’s Loving Presence Through Prayer.
You are a disciple of Jesus. Thank God for the barking dog. You do not know who God your Father may place on your path. Who Almighty God may want you to love with all your heart. So, that a person feels the love of His Heavenly Father. Perhaps, for the very first time in their life. God may use you to show a lost soul His way HOME.
May God, your Heavenly Father, grant you the wisdom and the love to LOVE!!!
