Starting Anew Each Morning

With God, we can make each day exciting and new

The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Romans 12:13, ESV)

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24, ESV)

A new morning is great. Full of potential and God’s blessings.

Especially when God starts our day with His delicate colours of a sunrise. The birds greet our early rise with their morning song. Our morning coffee refreshes us and helps us on our way.

As our new day begins. We take time to spend in the presence of our Father. We talk to God in a prayer of thanksgiving to Him for our blessings and for our new day.

We don’t know what our day has in store for us. This is what makes it so exciting. What we do know is that God is our source of hope, encouragement, and security. God is the creator and author of all things new.

Consider for a moment. As God the Creator, He took nothing and out of this nothing He created all that there is. So, yes, God is familiar with all that is new. We believe that our Creator God made all that exists out of nothing. Therefore all…
