Share God’s Holy Word with All Those We Meet. God Loves Each One
God’s Holy Word. God’s Love Story. We lovingly share with each person we meet.
Thy Word.
When I feel afraid,
And think I’ve lost my way.
Still, You’re there right beside me.
Nothing will, I fear.
As long as You are near,
Please be near me to the end.Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path.
Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path. (Amy Grant)
Introduction. Sharing the Word of God is so vital. It brings all Jesus’ disciples so much closer to our Lord.
Scripture Readings: All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17, ESV)
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16, ESV)
As Jesus’ disciples we have a deep-set desire to share His Father’s Word. Deep within we have a burning need to impart to all, the love of Jesus. Each day we read fervently God’s Holy Word. Each Book. Every Chapter. A precious jewel gathered within our heart. These gems of love, peace, comfort, strength and eternal life are all recorded in the Bible. Now and forever more deposited within our heart. We share His Word with those willing to listen. We share with those who God has opened their heart to hear. As beloved and chosen disciples of Jesus. WE SHARE!
Many verses are memorized for times of joy and gladness. For God Almighty tells us in His Holy Word. Our Heavenly Father confesses to us. He wants us to be Happy in Him. King David’s Psalms we sing to praise and to worship Almighty God. Memorized texts comfort us. And bring to us strength through life’s heartaches and sadness. God’s Holy Word is our refuge and our rock.
Scripture Readings: Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. (Philippians 4:4, ESV)
On God rests my salvation and my glory,
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. (Psalm 62:7, ESV)
For me, before I share God’s Word. Before I serve Jesus as His chosen disciple. I need to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. Only then will I be a living reflection of Jesus Christ. Only then can I share God’s Holy Word and His love with those I meet. I must not. I shall not be a stumbling block to those I meet. For many times in His Gospels. We see Jesus both learning and teaching in local temples and Jewish synagogues. We shall and we must share the Holy Word of God with all those we meet.
Scripture Readings: After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers. (Luke 2:46–47)
Early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people were coming to Him; and He sat down and began to teach them. (John 8:2, ESV)
Sharing God’s Holy Word is an important principle of Christianity. How do we get to know our beloved Lord, Jesus?
By reading of Jesus and how He truly loved all people in His Gospels. The one thing we must always remember. Jesus, always Jesus is the main character of each Book. Every passage in the four narratives that comprise the Holy Gospels. Speak of and teach us about our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
God Almighty and Jesus our Lord speaks to each of us through these four precious documents. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
In sum, we must read all of the Gospels in light of Christ, as they relate to the Old Testament, as a fourfold story, and apply these truths to our lives. In doing so, we’ll know Christ more fully and live for Him all the more. (Benjamin Gladd, Ligonier Blog)
Whether you have just recently accepted Christ as your Personal Savior. Or if you have believed in Him for many, many rears. As I indeed have. You and I embrace the importance in sharing the Holy Word of God with others. We believe in and hold dear, the love and saving grace of Jesus. You and I long to share it with everyone we meet. It to us is our duty to Jesus and to our Heavenly Father.
It is not a simple and easy task to achieve. In this day and age, many people just are not interested. Here in Australia, public education has banned Christian education in our schools. This to me is such a shame. For many young children certainly do not learn from the Bible in their family homes.
Scripture Reading: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19–20, ESV)
God loves each and every person we meet. Jesus commands us to do the same.
Scripture Reading: And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend on all the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 22:39–40, ESV)
God’s unceasing love is not conditioned on color of skin, gender, age or even choice of religion. God is love. God’s very nature. God Almighty’s very character is pure and sweet love. Our Heavenly Father loves each and every person on Earth. God’s love is merciful and filled with His grace. Each day, Christians and non-Christians alike are showered with His mercy, grace and His blessings.
When we think about it. The sun rises each day onto each person on this Earth. And so it is, with the love of Almighty God. He shines His love, mercy and grace onto every person. It is up to you and to me to show His love to them. Through our actions and our words. And, by continually offering our prayers up to Almighty God on their behalf.
Conclusion. We are so very blessed to have been chosen by Jesus to be His beloved disciples.
