Seeing the Beloved Face of Jesus in Paradise
Almighty God welcomes us Home. Our beloved Lord Jesus stands before us.

Reflection. Jesus is our Lord. Jesus is waiting in Heaven for us. In Heaven we shall see the glory of His face. In Heaven we shall walk in the presence of Jesus our LORD, our Savior.
Scripture Reading: And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43, NKJV)
Once a person has accepted Jesus’ invitation of salvation. Jesus’ offer of reconciliation with Almighty God we have accepted. We have been washed clean of our sins. Jesus now and for eternity is our personal LORD, Savior and God. Almighty God adopts us into His Heavenly family. We live from the moment of our salvation till God calls us Home. We live here on Earth. We abide in the current Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ is our Sovereign King here on Earth.
When Almighty God decides it is our time to return to Him. Upon our death. Or on the return of Jesus Christ. You, I and, all faithful believers. Are welcomed into our future Home. Almighty God, with His arms outstretched. Will be standing at the gates of Heaven to greet us.
Jesus our LORD, our Savior with eternally scarred hands. Jesus is also in Paradise to greet us. We with eager hearts. We shall step into our blessed Home. We shall glimpse for the first time. The beloved face of Jesus. Such tender and compassionate love. We shall see in His eyes. Such peace we shall feel. In the presence of the One who died for us. Jesus will reach out with His eternally scarred hands. We shall gladly reach back.
You and I shall live a life-time waiting eagerly for this moment. To see for the first time and for eternity. The face of our beloved Messiah. To see and to cherish the glorious face of our Saviour and our God. Jesus’ eyes shall look into ours. Without words being necessary. Jesus shall speak to our open hearts. “Welcome Home, my beloved. Welcome Home.”

Scripture Reading: And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6, ESV)
Walking with Jesus our LORD, our Savior in Paradise. Being in the presence of Jesus shall be a privilege of His sacrificial love.
Scripture Reading: Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. (John 17:24, ESV)
Walking in the presence of Jesus brings us peace and comfort. It is a spiritual journey we began the moment of our salvation. This journey of faith continues in Heaven for eternity and beyond.
What a wonder to our gladdened hearts it shall be. We have been obedient and faithful disciples here on Earth of our Lord Jesus. It was Jesus who paid our entry price into Heaven by His sacrificial blood.
Stepping into Paradise. We shall be surrounded by the radiance and the glory of Jesus our Savior. The sun which shines is the love, the glory and the radiance of our Messiah. The Holy Word of God reveals the truth of this. Hebrews 1:3 describes Jesus as the radiance of God’s glory. We can now only imagine what emotions Jesus’ glory shall stir in our hearts.
Shall we fall on our knees in eternal and grateful praise. We believe in our hearts. How much Jesus deserves our gratitude and our everlasting praise. Christs is our Savior. Jesus is the Great Physician. Jesus is our beloved companion. Yes! Oh! Yes our Lord deserves our eternal praise and our continued worship.
Scripture Reading: To the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved. (Ephesians 1:6, ESV)
Jesus, as our closest and our beloved companion. Jesus wants us to love Him. To walk alongside Him in Paradise as we do here. So we shall walk in comfortable and peaceful companionship with Jesus our Lord. You, I and, all His faithful disciples will be with Jesus for eternity and beyond.
Conclusion. What a wonderful Home. All faithful disciples of Jesus have waiting for us. The Kingdom of God is our future Home.
- In this Heavenly Kingdom.
- We shall walk in the presence of Jesus.
- We shall see the face of Jesus for the first time.
- You and I shall be bathed in the radiance and the glory of Jesus.
- We shall walk in the presence of Jesus for eternity.
- Such wondrous emotions will be stirred in our hearts. When we shall see Jesus.
