Seeing and Feeling God in Nature
Nature is God’s Divine Art Created By His Love!
I find it incredibly amazing how at every sunset, the sky is a different shade. No cloud is ever in the same place. Each day is a new masterpiece. A new wonder. A new memory. Sanober Khan
But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12: 7–10
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. Psalm 118:23

Nature is the physical expression of God’s limitless creativity. From the colors of a sunset to the majesty of mountains and the diversity and uniqueness in animal kingdom, there are countless examples of God’s creativity. Because it was crafted with love by the Creator, nature bears a mark of the Divine as well, just in a different way. Cody Welborn

Some people find that place in the mountains. The awesome grandeur of majestic mountains shows God’s power and creativity and it reminds us that the problems of earth can certainly be handled by God. Sally Frederick Johnson
Today’s story is going to cover the supreme and divine act of Creation. God is the Father of all Creation. God’s Word, the Holy Bible reveals God as the Father over all life in Heaven (the angels) and on Earth. He is the source of all life (Job 1:6; 38:7; 1 Timothy 6:13).
Again, to write about a topic that is so complex and intriguing would take more than this story allows. I will briefly outline what I feel may interest you. In God’s Word, the Bible the whole story is revealed.
I hope and pray that you are blessed and learn a little from this story.
I am pretty excited about this one. Who doesn’t love taking a hike in nature? Or, watching a documentary on the diversity and amazement of animal and plant life.
You and I see God’s creativity in the astounding diversity and variety in the natural world.
Simply take a hike in the woodlands or a close-by forest. Pause for a few moments. Look around. The variety of trees alone is staggering. The different types. Each with its own habitat. Each tree is essential to birds, insects and other life for their mere existence.
Then maybe, close your eyes, for a second or two. Do you hear a variety of natural sounds? Birds singing to their loved ones. Insects calling, showing directions to their community. Maybe bees humming as they collect nectar. Leaves fall gently to the ground. A waterfall in the distance, calling you to spend a few minutes in its presence.
So much for all your five senses to absorb.
Yes, God must indeed love diversity and variety.
When you take a stroll down a busy city street. Again, God’s diversity and variety are on display. If you can spot two people alike. It is an optical allusion. We are all unique. We are all loved and precious to God, our Heavenly Father.
As you are strolling along in your local park and appreciating the variety of flowers. Again, God’s love of diversity and variety is on display.
If you had the ability to study every variety of flowering plants on earth it would take more than one lifetime. So many and so vast are the varieties.
God’s creative provision is beyond my simple comprehension. I give thanks to Him. Thanking Him for the many colours, scents, textures and provisions of His animal and plant kingdom.
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. Psalm 118:23
I thank God, the Creator for His divine love of diversity and variety.
When I was a young child I used to sit for many hours in a field of daisies. Making chains of these dainty flowers. I never stopped and thought for a moment that each one was unique. If I looked closely I would have found no two the same.
When you go adventuring in the great outdoors. Or take a hike out into the real world of nature. Please, pause for a while and appreciate God’s love for diversity and variety.
Wherever it is that you favour. Variety is all around you, beaconing your attention. Whether in the wilds of America. Hearing the howls of a wolf. Each is truly unique and special. Wherever you are nature never really repeats itself.
Each is created with its own purpose. Each intertwined with its neighbour. Co-habiting on a planet formed by God, the Creator with and by Love.
Creation is not just a one-off occurrence. Our loving benefactor is continuously involved. He is, after all, the Father of all Creation. And, being a Father, He is constantly involved and lovingly watching over His Creation and You.
The Book of Psalms declares God actually governs and takes care of our world. In other words, as well as creating our world, He is actively sustaining it through His love.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Psalm 19:1
He created humanity to be His obedient servants. To work alongside God and lovingly take care of all nature.
If only we had chosen to do so. Can you imagine what paradise this world would be?
God created the world and saw that it was “Good.”
God is the Creator and Sustainer of nature. Humanity is His workers. Working in a physical world of nature to sustain and love on His behalf.
I do not feel it is too late! Man has the riches and the technology to turn centuries of greed and neglect around.
For the first time in human history. It is in our grasp to save species on the brink of extinction. It is in our capacity to help save nature. One loving servant of God, the Creator at a time.
Remember, with God on our side no battle cannot be won. With God as our leader, nothing is impossible!
The Creator of the entire universe has created you and me as His servants. To work for the continuity of creation in His world.
I believe we owe Him no less!
When you see the sun shining mistily through trees on a wintry day. You see wondrous beauty! You see something of awesome splendour. The beauty that you see around you is a gentle reminder of God’s love for you, His child.
The sun gently reflecting on your hair is an image of God’s love shining on you. He is constantly shining His pure and true love on you.
When you spare a moment to value what God has created. You are admiring and paying homage to its Creator. This in itself is a reason to respect all of nature. All of God’s Creation.
Nature is God’s supreme, ultimate and divine act of creativity. Through nature, if we allow Him, God teaches and speaks to us. God uses nature to provide for our needs far beyond measure.
