Raise A Hallelujah!

I‘m gonna sing, in the middle of the storm
Louder and louder, You’re gonna hear my praises roar.
Up from the ashes, hope will arise
Death is defeated, the King is alive.

I raise a hallelujah
With everything inside of me.
I raise a hallelujah
I will watch the darkness flee.

I raise a hallelujah
In the middle of the mystery.
I raise a hallelujah
Fear, You lost Your hold on me.

(Jake Stevens, Johnathan David Helser, Melissa Helser, Molly Skaggs, 2019)

Reflection: “Hallelujah!” Our one and only heartfelt gift of genuine thanksgiving to the Almighty One. The only gift we have fit for the King of kings. We praise God again and again.

Scripture Reading: Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the Earth;
Break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. (Psalm 98:4, NKJV)

God Almighty — Yahweh! We raise our hands and our hearts. In adoring praise and worship. Again and again and again. Our hearts sing Hallelujah! Almighty God is great. His Holy name is above all other names. God the creator made the entire universe. Our hearts, our voices sing in such jubilant praise and worship to Almighty God.

Scripture Reading: Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
“The Lord has done great things for them.” (Psalm 126:2, NIV)

Our hearts in glorious and humble gratitude sing Hallelujah! To Yahweh! We raise up our hands and our hearts. In heartfelt songs of eternal praise and worship.

This article focuses on Psalm 138. Particularly its verses one through three.

Scripture Reading: The Lord’s Goodness to the Faithful

A Psalm of David.

I will praise You with my whole heart;
Before the gods I will sing praises to You.
I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name.

For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul. (Psalm 138:1–3, NKJV)

Praise and worship Almighty God. We owe Almighty God all our praise. And our genuine worship. For who He is. God is our Creator. God is our Heavenly Father. God is our Comforter. God is the Father of Jesus our Savior. Yes. God deserves our praise and our worship — ALWAYS.

We praise and worship Almighty God for what He has done for us. Now if I had a book the size of God’s universe. It still would be insufficient to list what God the Father has done. God the Creator made all there is and all there ever will be. This is includes galaxies. Each galaxy has billions upon billions of stars. Each star has its orbiting planets. Each planet may have its accompanying moon. Do you get my drift? God the creator is great!!!

At the other end of God’s creations. Are His world of bacteria. These works of miracles can only be observed under a microscope. These microscopic life forms may be tiny. They might only live for a brief moment in the period of cosmic time. But bacteria are essential for human and other life forms to exist. This is the wonder of God the Creator. He created all with its own designated purpose. God created everything He made through and by His unlimited love.

In King David’s Psalm verse one. David begins this verse by promising God that he will praise Him with his whole heart. To worship the creator of everything with all his heart always.

David’s first verse also tells us that his. Our first allegiance must be to God and to God alone. We in our praise and in our times of worship. Follow King David’s intention and worship God’s Holy name. For who He is. And the many Names He has.

Now, my dear reader. Let us attempt to apply Psalm 138 to our hearts. Let us imitate King David. Worship Almighty God with all our hearts. When we look into who God is. Through the lens of the Holy Word of God.

We cannot help but praise and worship the Almighty One. We see all nature surrounding us in every corner. We worship the creator of all. The creator of the giant gum tree in our local park. The maker of her individual leaves. The One who mixed her chemicals together. That made their specific aroma. We sing praises to their creator. We fall to our knees in worship to our creator.

God the Creator also gave you and me all our five senses. Our Heavenly Father loves us so very much. He gave us the sense of touch. We have the ability to feel the roughness of the tree’s bark. The smooth and velvety texture of the tree’s leaves. God gave us all our senses to appreciate and love all His nature that surrounds us. It is only natural for us to raise our arms and our hearts. To the creator of all that is. To the creator of all there ever will be.

Most of all. We fall on our knees. We sing our praises to the One who created us. To the One who deserves our praise and our worship — ALWAYS.

Conclusion. Every day we sing. You and I raise Hallelujah! Our Hearts Raise Hallelujah!

  • You and I sing our praise to Almighty God for who He is.
  • God the Creator of all there is and all there ever will be.
  • God our comforter and provider.
  • God the Father of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

For all this and so much more. We praise and worship His Holy Name.

Today’s music video for your pleasure.
