Prayer Sharing Our Love and Joy
What Brings Me Joy?
What brings me joy is my God, being on my side,
Guiding me and believing in me,
Letting me know that everything will be all right,
Whispering in my ear the depth of who HE is.
What brings me joy is my Lord and Savior,
Being with me from the beginning till the very end.
That is what and who brings me joy. Kyla Brown
Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Psalm 32:11
And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, Luke 1:47
Alice’s words are inspiring. Her story is worth your time.
Seeking a God Who Makes Your Heart Rejoice
Perhaps if we spent more time reading about God, we’d realize the joy in seeking him
The fullness of our joy is found in the Presence of our Lord! Who would have thought that God’s ‘suffering servant’, whom Isaiah prophesied about? Would be the true source of our meaningful and lasting joy. That, seven hundred years after Isaiah wrote of the suffering servant. That Jesus Christ would come to give us true and lasting joy. “I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” (John 17:13)
God’s own Son. He, as our Lord. As our Saviour entered into our arena of sin and wickedness. Making Himself able to understand our weaknesses, our troubles and our heartaches. “For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)
Jesus, our Lord. Is a Lord of love and comfort. God the Son, infinitely abiding with God His Father. In perfect harmony, peace and joy. At His birth, the angelic host sang. Harmoniously announced His arrival. Heralded with music and song, Jesus’ coming as “good news of great joy.” (Luke 2:10)
