Prayer and Prayer Time with God Draws Us Close to Him
Prayer is our communion with our Father, and it is born out of pure and deep love.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek You;
my soul thirsts for You;
my flesh faints for You,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. (Psalm 63:1, ESV)
Every morning brings possibilities. Either a day filled with the love and peace of God or not.
Offering God, our Almighty benefactor, praise and thanksgiving. Is an emotional and heart-moving way to start our day. King David, God’s chosen Psalmist, in his sixty-third Psalm, prayed to God. A prayer to our Lord on how his soul, “thirsts for God.” This beautiful and timeless prayer and plea. Was recorded as David dragged himself through the arid and waterless wilderness of Judah. Fleeing for his life from King Saul.
Prayer time is vital, it helps us to draw and stay close to God.
Dear God, we need you in our life. Every moment, neigh, every second. Our love for you is total and with all our heart, mind and soul. With sincere and intense conviction, we seek your love and Holy presence. This is our prayer, this is our life.
From this moment, and for eternity, we will strive to:
