Lift You High.

Come let us Sing to the Lord
Come let us Bow down before Him!
His Banner is Love Over Us
His Mercies are New every Morning.
I’ll sing,
Oh, oh, oh, oh — Oh, oh!
Oh, oh, oh, oh — Oh, oh!

So, we Lift you High,
Forever Lift you High
High within our Hearts
High within our Minds
Jesus you Alone
Our Rock our Cornerstone
High within our Hearts
High within our Minds. (Kirby Kaple & Dante Bowe)

Introduction. God has given to all. The most wondrous of gifts — PRAYER! Prayer is the gift of God’s presence and loving companionship.

Scripture Reading: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, ESV)

Have you ever stopped and considered? What an amazing blessing prayer is? For this is what prayer is. A gracious blessing from a loving and a personal Father. My hope. My prayer, dear reader. Is that you never take this precious gift. God’s amazing blessing for granted. Pray consistently and with a grateful heart. To our loving Heavenly Father who loves us so.

For prayer is our access to a God who always listens — who always answers. God blesses our soul through heartfelt prayer. Our Heavenly Father fills our heart to overflowing with His love, through devoted prayer. Such a wondrous gift is prayer. Such an amazing blessing is prayer. Almighty God blesses us and loves us so.

Scripture Reading: And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. (Matthew 21:22, ESV)

When you think of prayer as a blessing. What first pops into your mind? Maybe the fact that our Father is always patiently waiting. You and I have 24/7 access to our Heavenly Father. Now for me this is simply amazing. Yes, such a blessing is prayer. No matter the time of day, we simply bow our head and open our heart and pray. Our Heavenly Father draws near to us and listens to our call, always. God Almighty answers all calls and answers according to His good will and to His Holy purpose.

I am person who loves to share my happiness and my joy. Who better to share my joy with, than God, Himself.

Scripture Reading: His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

A Psalm for giving thanks.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the Earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into His presence with singing! (Psalm 100:1–3, ESV)

Almighty God is always patiently waiting to listen and to answer our prayer.

God is up, ready and willing to hear your prayer. (David Kaywood, Gospel Relevance Blog)

Scripture Reading: In those days when you pray, I will listen. (Jeremiah 29:12, NIV)

The powerful gift of prayer. Brings about miraculous healing. Brings about salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God.

When our faith in God Almighty is complete. When our trust in our Heavenly Father is absolute Then our call to Him brings about miracles.

When our Lord, Christ Jesus is present. Miracles are performed. When Almighty God steps in and answers our call — miracles take place.

Scripture Reading: You are the God who performs miracles,
You display Your power among the peoples. (Psalm 77:14, ESV)

We call to Almighty God for a miracle. Yes, you and I can indeed call to our Heavenly Father for a miracle. WHY??? Because. God is love. God loves you and I with unceasing love. He wants what is best for us. If this calls for Jesus to perform for us a miracle, so be it. Then, yes, we pray for this miracle.

Quite often this prayer for a miracle is for healing. This prayer for healing is witnessed many times in Christ’s Gospels. When the leper called out to Jesus to heal him. It was a prayer for a miracle. Jesus then performed His miracle. Through Jesus’ miraculous healing power, we or a loved one is healed. Brought about through the healing power of a prayer for a miracle.

There are times in our life when we find ourselves vulnerable and powerless.

These are the times when we call out to God Almighty in a prayer for power. This is not a prayer for power as such. But something far, far more essential in our life.

Our Heavenly Father’s touch in the circumstance. The miracle Jesus performs, is we believe in miracles. You and I believe in the power miracles have in our life. The power God’s love has for us. Penetrates into every aspect of our life. Yes, every aspect of our life.

So, no matter the circumstance. No matter the problem. God’s love penetrates through it. It is your faith in God’s love which allows Jesus to perform His miracle. Remember Saint Peter walking on the water. It was his faith in Jesus which kept him afloat.

And Peter answered Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. (Matthew 14:28, ESV)

The answer to all our prayers. Whether they be for a miracle or not. Is our absolute trust in Almighty God. Our complete faith in our Heavenly Father. Then you and I can also walk beside Jesus on the water.

As we pray to God, our Heavenly Father. No matter the reason or the why. We remember, we also are a miracle.

You and I praise God, our Creator for the miracle, the gift which is our very life itself. For we are His creation. Without God Almighty we would not exist. Without Christ Jesus we would not have been saved from the darkness of our sin. Without the indwelling of God, the Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf we would not be comforted. Without God we would be nothing.

We remember and we praise God Almighty for the miracle that we are.

Jesus, Your array of miracles, a true manifestation of Your divinity draws the admiration of searching souls. Never let it be said, ‘Miracles do not exist!’ You are the living example of such actions. Bless me with the faith to always believe, to affirm the Supreme Power of Your miracles, be they of a physical or spiritual nature. Grant me the aptitude to instantly perceive the source of all supernatural occurrences. So only Your excellence shall be glorified. Jesus, my existence is a wonderful miracle. Amen. (Lesli White, Beliefnet Blog)

For what only God can do.

Now, let us not limit our prayers to the everyday little things in our life. Let us now pray for miracles. Let us now make it a habit to pray for miracles. Pray for a bigger vision in our life. I, for one, am up for the challenge. My articles shall reach a larger audience. My articles shall allow God to touch more hearts with His love. My articles shall allow more readers hear the good news of the Kingdom of God.

And you dear reader?? From now on. Are your prayers going to be for miracles.????

Conclusion. Prayer. A Gracious and Powerful Gift of God. We have a God who always listens. You and I have a God, who answers all our prayers.
