Praise and Worship Almighty God Forever!!!
We are so blessed. We walk daily in the Holy light of the presence of Almighty God.
In The Garden.
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses. And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known. (C. Austin Miles, 1912)
Introduction. I dedicate. I devote this article to Psalm 89. “A maskil of Ethan the Ezrahite.”
Scripture Reading: I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever. (Psalm 89:1, ESV)
There are so many ways to praise and to worship Almighty God. My personal favorite is through song and music. Though my closest neighbors often wish I would find another way. Sometimes, I bring out my electric organ, which plays away with me.
When God blesses the close of another glorious day. With His surprising artistry of a delicately colored sunset. I sing to God my praise and my thanks. For this brief glimpse into His glory.
Anew, I softly burst into a song of praise and my love to and for God. Many times, I simply play recorded favorites of others singing their praises to God, their Father. No matter how I choose to praise my God. My heart is brightened with His love.
At times I do not even realize. I have burst into joyful song. My heart. My voice praising my Heavenly Father. At these times my words are my own. Other times, my words of praise are one’s I have sourced for my articles. All I know. My tender and open heart is filled with such joy. My words of praise rise up to Heaven. I worship the One who has blessed my day. I praise the One who loves me so.
And you, dear one. As you praise and worship our Heavenly Father. As you heart sings of His love for you. You and I join with all God’s angels in singing His praise.
Scripture Reading: The heavens praise Your wonders, Lord,
Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. (Psalm 189:5, ESV)
What is it about singing to our Heavenly Father that matters to Him???
Scripture Reading: Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. (Colossians 3:16, ESV)
Once more God’s Holy Word has the truthful and faithful answer. The Holy Scripture unpacks to you and to me more important truth about singing God’s praises. For instance, singing our love to God, our praise and worship to Him. Is a command obeyed. Singing to the One who loves us so. Is not merely an option. A truly joyful choice we decide to do, because it makes us feel good. It is a Holy command lovingly and wonderfully obeyed.
Scripture Readings: Praise the Lord.
How good it is to sing praises to our God,
how pleasant and fitting to praise Him! (Psalm 147:1, NIV)Praise the Lord.
Praise God in His sanctuary,
praise Him in His mighty heavens. (Psalm 150:1, NIV)
As we raise our voices in love, praise and worship. You and I not only find real joy and gladness. We are once more obeying the Holy command of Almighty God.
Far beyond God’s Holy Command. A meaningful and bountiful indwelling of Christ Jesus.
Whilst imprisoned and in chains. Saint Paul in his letter Colossians teaches us singing God’s praises. Is a chief way God’s Word dwells within us. As we joyfully sing God praises, we feel deep in our heart. God’s promise being fulfilled ever so deeply. In a truly meaningful and loving way. Our Lord, Christ Jesus lives within us. This for each disciple is all we need and all we crave for.
Another blessing, as we sing God’s praises. And our tender love for Jesus, our Lord, our Savior, our God. Others also are hearing of our unbounding and never-ending love for Jesus. They may even approach and join in. If they are familiar with the hymn. They may even join in. This hymn may be God’s invitation to them. WELCOME HOME!!!
Scripture Reading: And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need, and plenty left over to share with others. (2 Corinthians 9:8, NLT)
Christ is telling us. Jesus lives within. Through the power of the Holy Spirit. Helping us to become more like Him.
Each true believer Christ Jesus is granted of God the Father, Christ Jesus. Who is of the Father and abides within every Christian. This amazing and wondrous gift from God. Is through the power of the Holy Spirit. This most Holy and precious of gifts. Dwells withing each faithful believer. Now and for eternity.
Yet, the best is still to come!!! What does Jesus mean by He is in you???
Scripture Reading: You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. (Romans 8:9, NIV)
The gift of the indwelling of God, the Holy Spirit. This gift of grace is from God Almighty. Brings to us ability and powers to actually become more like our Lord, Jesus each day.
How did Jesus praise His Heavenly Father?
Scripture Reading: At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.” (Luke 10:21, NIV)
