The book of 2 Chronicles 26:4–5 reads, “And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.”

But I say unto you that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalteth to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.
He that heareth you heareth Me; and he that despiseth you despiseth Me; and he that despiseth Me despiseth Him that sent Me.”
From the Context: It is a pity that your weaker and offensive wings will soon be paralyzed, simply because, you foolishly choose to use your inferior office to stand in opposition against the possible entrance of the gospel of Christ into the expectant and willing souls; whereas, King Uzziah of Judah used his kingly office to please God, just like his father Amaziah paved way for the word of God to thrive in the land.
He sought God in the days of Zechariah who taught him to reverence God, as a man of God who was gifted in having a better understanding of the vision of the Lord. The secret behind the success and bountiful blessing of King Uzziah was based on the fact that he sought guidance from the Lord. And I believe that Uzziah would testify against the wicked of this.
Generation who use their offices to fight the word of God, on the day of reckoning.
Luke 11:30–32 reads, “For as Jonah was a sign unto the Nineviites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
The queen of the south shall rise in judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
The men of Nineveh shall rise in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here.”
Lord, let the gates and everlasting doors be swung open for the entrance of your word. Amen!
