We love God so. His love shines through all we say and all we do.

Unfailing Grace.

And everything You hold in Your hand,
Still, You make time for me.
I can’t understand.
Praise You God of earth and sky,
How beautiful is Your unfailing love,
Unfailing love.
And You never change God You remain.
The Holy One
My unfailing love
Unfailing love. (Chris Tomlin)

Introduction. Unfailing grace and unceasing love. These and so much more, are free gifts from Almighty God.

Unfailing grace and unceasing love we receive freely from our Heavenly Father. Mercy and peace shower down from God Almighty into our eager and open hearts. As we walk in faith, in His Holy presence each day. Our Lord’s strength and His guidance are our light to take us safely Home. God’s comfort and assurance are always there as needed. Almighty God provides for all our needs. Our Father loves us deeply.

Scripture Reading: Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning,
great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22–23, NIV)

You and I praise Almighty God and are forever grateful for these undeserved gifts. Our trust in our Heavenly Father is complete. Our faith in His Holy Word is absolute. Does our love for Almighty God shine so brightly that people readily see it? Do they recognize Jesus in our compassionate actions and in our soft and kind words? They should. They must. For it is through us, they will find their way Home to God’s Heavenly Kingdom.

Scripture Readings: Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 6:14, NIV)

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (Colossians 3:14, NIV)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE. (1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV)

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. (Titus 2:11, NIV)

We ask ourselves do people gravitate to our tender and kind ways when they are in need. Do our neighbors come knocking for favors or just for a coffee and a chat? Do we at all times look for ways to help without being asked? For this is what Jesus did. Jesus walked throughout Galilee looking for how He could love and be of help. People of all kinds came to Jesus. It was their complete and absolute faith in their Lord that healed them.

The sad and the broken hearted gathered around Jesus. Because Christ loved each of His people. Crowds gathered around Jesus not only because of the healings and the miracles He performed. Christ Himself is the greatest miracle. Jesus is love. Jesus shines His love brightly onto all those around Him.

Jesus’ eyes speak silently of His love as they search each person’s heart. Christ’s tender, kind and soft words, speak of His divine love. Our Lord is never impatient or cruel. He never judges color, race or appearance. Jesus shines His love brightly on to all God’s people. For to Him they are all created by God His Father. Jesus loves as no other person can or ever will.

Jesus Christ knows the worst about you. Nonetheless, He is the one who loves you most. (A.W. Tozer)

Scripture Reading: We love because He first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. (1 John 4:19–21, NIV)

Our unfailing love and never-ending praise. Oh! How we love our Heavenly Father.

Loving our Heavenly Father with all your heart, soul, mind and strength requires supernatural faith. Jesus’ love moves past needing something in return. We love simply for the pleasure and gift of loving. For this truly is God-like love. Loving God and loving others. For no other reason than to love. True authentic love, always. Yes, always putting the needs of others before the needs of ourselves.

Scripture Readings: Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, (Philippians 2:3, NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. (1 John 4:7, NIV)

We praise Almighty God not only with our words of thanksgiving. And in our quiet prayer time with our Heavenly Father. Most importantly of all. We show God our love and our praise through our love for all those around us.

You and I imitate Jesus as we touch the hearts of our loved ones. With words of love, kindness and the upmost understanding. Through our tender and compassionate acts of love. The love of God Almighty shines into the hearts of all those we touch. We are the hands and the voice of Jesus our Lord.

When a loved one confesses to us her sadness. A hand is offered, time is taken to truly here her story and her heartache. A box of tissues close-by just in case. Words of love shared when appropriate. But mostly we sit quietly and with hearts wide open, we listen. When the time is right a prayer may be shared. As we offer our loved one to God.

Scripture Readings: What you heard from Me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. (2 Timothy 1:13, NIV)

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8, NIV)

Forgiveness wipes out the memory of hurt. Reconciliation is granted and love is restored.

This, sadly, is a world which focuses on the negative side of relationships. Each member believing, they are right all the time. Each person feeling, they are the most important. Forgiveness is not a part of the equation in many homes. Families are torn apart. This is such a shame. Such a loss of trust. Love is thrown away onto the rubbish heap of unforgiveness.

When God-given forgiveness is granted. Families can move on. Reconciliation is gained. Sins are washed away by the love of God Almighty. The hurt caused in time forgotten. People do not have to go over and over again what is best left in the past. Families move on to a brighter and a loving future. A stronger future based on the love of God the Father and a compassionate love for each other. All through the art of true God-given forgiveness.

Scripture Reading: Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up His clothes by casting lots. (Luke 23:34, NIV)

Another way we can praise God and to show Him we love Him. Is to do all we can to care for His world — God’s creation.

No, it is not like an ant trying to move Mount Everest. We can all do our part.

  • Recycle all we can. Removes many tons of rubbish from the local rubbish tip.
  • Use as little electricity as possible. Reduces greenhouse gases.
  • By our clothes, household goods, etc., from Secondhand shops. Not only does this reduce the demand for new clothes, etc. It helps charities to raise funds for those in need.

I am sure you and I can think of many more ways. To help God’s wonderland to be the place of wonder He created it to be. After all God our Creator made mankind to be the caretaker of all on earth that He made.

Scripture Reading: God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1:28, NIV)

We love Almighty God and His wondrous creation. You and I are going to do the best we can to be the caretakers HE made us to be.
