My Strength is Weak. God’s Love Strengthens Me
When life brings more than we can take. We feel God’s hand in ours.
Scripture Reading: Now, I have carefully thought about all this, and I explain it in this way: Righteous people and wise people, along with their accomplishments, are in God’s hands. (Ecclesiastes 9:1a, ESV)
What Is Righteousness?
Righteousness is an attribute that belongs to God, the Lawgiver, and is manifested in His laws. No man can be justified by his own works apart from God’s ordinance. Therefore, righteousness is a wonderful gift from God to humanity through His love: it is the God-given quality imputed to man upon believing in the Son of God. (Philip Wijaya, Oct 09, 2023)
Reflection. As faithful and trusting believers. We walk in the presence of Almighty God. We are in God’s hands. We are loved. Deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.
Do we understand what a precious gift of grace salvation is? All humanity was lost in the darkness of sin. Almighty God loves each of His people. Almighty God designed a plan to save each of His people. This plan. The saving grace of His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. The pure and perfect blood of the Lamb of God. Washes away all sins.
Upon accepting Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour, Redeemer and God. We once more are made righteous and holy before Almighty God. We are welcomed into the Kingdom of God. We are adopted into the divine family of our Heavenly Father. We are children of God. We are children of the light.
Humble ourselves under the powerful and mighty hand of Almighty God. We cast all our worries and troubles onto the One who loves us so much.
Scripture Reading: Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6–7, ESV)
Do we appreciate what love and grace Almighty God bestows on all His children? As we humbly bow before Him in simple prayer. We cast all our anxieties upon the shoulders of the One who loves us. Almighty God carries our heavy burdens. We leave all our worries and concerns with the One who cares for us. In the powerful and mighty hands of God, we are lifted high. We are lifted close to the heart of Almighty God. We find eternal peace and rest in the presence of God. God is our resting place and refuge.
Scripture Reading: Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:10, ESV)
The reassurance of David’s verse is unshakeable. Almighty God and His love are everywhere. We cannot escape God’s mercy and grace. We cannot flee from the offer of God’s forgiveness. We cannot run from God’s gift of Salvation. God’s gift of salvation breaks us free from the chains of sin. God’s gift of salvation releases us from the grip of death. We step from death to eternal life in Paradise.
There is no hiding place from Almighty God. Our Heavenly Father and His love is everywhere. This is such a comfort to us. Such peace in troubled times this brings us. No matter where we are. Almighty God is there also. No matter who we are. God loves us. No matter the circumstance. God’s love will see us through.
Psalm 139:10 was written by David over three millennia ago. Even now the love in these words is felt. Even now the comfort of these words fills our hearts and souls. It is quite impossible to stray far from God and His love. Almighty God is continually reaching down from Heaven. Our Heavenly Father is waiting for us to reach for Him. God’s hand is reaching out. All we need to do. Is offer ours in return.
We have a God who is present in all places and at all times. Almighty God is omnipresent. This may be a little difficult for us to understand. It is a wonder to accept and to believe in. You, I and all God’s believers, no matter where we are. Can be in the presence of God. All we need to do. We need to kneel before the Heavenly throne in prayer. Prayer is the stepping stone into the presence of Almighty God.
Conclusion. This gift. This blessing. This creation of Almighty God — Prayer. Is our stepping stone into the eternal presence of Almighty God.
In the loving and Holy presence of Almighty God. His righteous right-hand holds us close to Him. We are held close to the heart of our Heavenly Father. We are safe and protected by His hand.
Once we are saved by the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ. We are righteous once me. We live and abide in the eternal presence of Almighty God.
