Reflection. Jesus, your Lord and God, commands you to love others.
Scripture Reading:
“ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’” (Mark 12:31, NIV)
This second Commandment is simple yet profound. It's simplicity. It is found in how Jesus tells you how to live a life of faith. You are to love God and love others. Jesus shows the people of His time and all people. It is not about religious rituals, spiritual practices or human devices. Jesus teaches. Love God and others. It’s about relationships — deep and meaningful companionships with Almighty God and others. These relationships are inspired by and founded on Almighty God’s love.
Take Mark 12:31 deep into your heart. Live this verse each day. ‘‘Love your neighbour.” Remember, Jesus taught. Everyone is your neighbour. Every person you meet is a creation of God. Read Jesus’ Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25–37. Every person you meet. Is loved and cherished by the Father.
