Jesus’ Light Guides Us Past Obstacles and Rocky Paths
Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior is sent from heaven to be the shining light for the world.
Jesus, God the Son is the very nature of God Almighty. Thereby, Jesus in and by His own essence is love. His very being is beaming and glorious light. He not only shines the light of God throughout the universe. Jesus through His very character is the shining light of God Almighty.
The universe in its vastness cannot quench the light of God the Son, Jesus. Christ’s light reaches from one end of this seemingly infinite expanse to the other. Christ’s light has its origin and source in the Father.
God the Son, Jesus was sent by God to earth to shine:
The light of the Father to the far-flung corners of the universe. That light shines in the darkness, but darkness and evil cannot quench the light of His love. (Doctrinal Statement, Knowing Jesus Blog)
All those who trust in Christ and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior receive the light of God into their hearts and souls.
Jesus’ pure light shines the truth of God into the hearts and souls of all true believers. With eyes and hearts wide open to God’s truth, Jesus’ light pours into hearts and shines through our lives.
