Reflection. You live in a world of darkness. Where temptation lurks around every corner. Let the Spirit guide you to the light of God.

Saint Paul warns all believers to live in the Spirit. To lay your life before Almighty God.

Scripture Reading:

Romans 12:1 is a verse from the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. It reads: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship”. (Bible Gateway+1)

It is not easy to lay down your life before Almighty God as a living sacrifice. To give Him your all. To place the needs of others above your own. Yet this is what Jesus calls you to do — through the eternal love and grace of the Father. Offer your love, your trust, and all that you are to Almighty God in faith.

The world gently insists it is acceptable — even wise — to serve your interests first, and others second. But Saint Paul turns this idea on its head. He urges you to give to those in need, to pray for those who persecute you, to forgive those who have hurt you or owe you. He calls you to lay down your life for others, if…
