Kneel at the Throne of God. Pray to the One Who Loves You
Prayer, a wondrous, loving and precious gift from the One who loves us so. Grants to us such blessings. Let us kneel at God’s throne consistently.
In the Garden.
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses.
And the voice I hear, falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses. And He walks with me,
And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known. He speaks, and the sound of
His voice is so sweet.(C. Austin Miles, 1912)
Introduction. We kneel at the throne of the Almighty One. With our heart wide open. With words of love. We speak to a personal and a loving God.
The gift of prayer. The blessing of our prayer time with our Heavenly Father. Deepens with each spoken word to the One who listens, who truly listens. We build such a deep, a personal and an intimate companionship with God.
You and I feel so comfortable in God Almighty’s presence. We never want to leave Him. More and more we seek God in prayer. Until we find prayer is for us. As natural as breathing. Breathe in — the love of the Almighty One. Breathe out — our love for Almighty God — now and forever more.
Scripture Reading: Jesus answered, ‘The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ (Mark 12:29–30, ESV)
Almighty God is the creator of all there is. You and I stand in wonder and in awe before all His creations. Our Heavenly Father also created you and He created me. It is God Almighty who created the wonder and the power — PRAYER. The Almighty One is the giver of the this blessed gift — PRAYER. God is the most supreme and magnificent being there is or ever will be.
Bowing in the mighty and majestic presence of our Lord. Is our sign of love and our utter respect for Him. Kneeling before the throne of Almighty God. Is a sign of humility and worship. Kneeling upon entering God’s Holy presence. Through worship and prayer is an act of sincere and undeserved love.
Scripture Reading: As surely as I live, says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will acknowledge God.’ (Romans 14:11, NIV)
When we approach Almighty God in prayer. We do it as an act of worship. Kneeling is an act of humility. We kneel before the throne of the Almighty One in prayer and in worship.
Scripture Reading: Splendor and majesty are before Him,
strength and glory are in His sanctuary. (Psalm 95:6, NIV)
Prayer to the Almighty One is an act of worship. Worshiping Almighty God includes our prayer time with Him. In this loving and vital way. Our prayer life and our worship life are inter-twined. We cannot have one without the other. You and I cannot separate our prayer time from our worship for our Lord God Almighty.
Do we remember? As a child watching movies. Where mother and daughter knelt beside her bed and prayed. Somehow. this loving reverence has been lost. Even in church services. We often remain seated to pray. And to give worship to God Almighty. In worshiping the One who loves us so. We remain seated. We no longer kneel in humble reverence.
Do we recognize? What a privilege it is to be in the presence of the Almighty One. Prayer brings you and I into the realm of love. For wherever God is. There love is also. For God is love. We remember our Heavenly Father urging us to approach with boldness His throne always. Constantly believing God hears and answers all our prayers.
Scripture Readings: In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. (Ephesians 3:12, NIV)
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16, NIV)
Kneeling in prayer in the presence of God Almighty. We bow our head. Speaking to our Heavenly Father. Worshiping His Holy and righteous name. Such a wondrous opportunity to spend time wrapped in His love. Such a blessing.
Prayer is a gift straight from Heaven. Through the power of prayer. Moses parted the Red Sea for the Israelites. We are amazed just what the power of prayer has accomplished in our life. In humility we kneel before the throne of the Almighty One. With all the love in our heart. We pray to our Heavenly Father.
Scripture Readings: Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. (Jeremiah 29:12, ESV)
And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14, ESV)
In all our prayers. In each of our prayer time with Almighty God. We constantly remember to direct our focus on God. For it is our Heavenly Father who has blessed us with this gift — PRAYER. It is the creator of all there is. Who created this opportunity to speak with Him — PRAYER. We place our complete focus on God, our Heavenly Father. You and I are secondary. God always, always comes first.
It is by always by placing Almighty God first. We remember the true power of prayer.
The wonder of prayer. The miracle of prayer. The power of prayer.
According to the Bible, the power of prayer is, quite simply, the power of God, who hears and answers prayer. (Heather Riggleman, Christianity.com Blog)
Our prayer life with Almighty God is so very powerful. It literally shapes the person we become. By placing our complete faith and our trust in our Heavenly Father. Our faith influences our prayer life and our worship. By placing our complete faith in Almighty God. We believe. Truly believe He calms the stormy days which come our way.
In other words, the more we believe in God and His love through prayer. The bolder and more confident our prayer time with our Heavenly Father becomes. The more time we spend in God’s loving and righteous presence. The more time we want to spend with Him.
We feel more loved and extra special each time we approach God’s Holy throne. Ultimately, the words of prayer we speak to God. Become the story of our life. Our life story is one of LOVE. For God is love.
Scripture Reading: God Is Love.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:7. ESV)
As we kneel at the throne of God and pray. We are in the presence of love.
- For God is love.
- The wonder. The miracle. The power of prayer. It shapes the person we become.
- Kneeling in the presence of God.
- Acknowledges the magnificence of who God is.
- Shows to God our humility and our love for Him.
