Keep on Praying, God is Listening and Answers All Pleas
Prayers are answered, when ushered from a heart filled with love and faith.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong, and let your heart take courage;
wait for the Lord! (Psalm 27:14, ESV)I waited patiently for the Lord;
He inclined to me and heard my cry. (Psalm 40:1, ESV)
Patiently waiting for an answer to prayer is not a cause to cease praying to our loving Father.
On the contrary, it gives us more incentive to turn to Him. We need His comfort and peace in our hour of need.
Perhaps we need to look within ourselves. Find within the cause for our impatience and doubt. This, again, is a time for prayer and contemplation on the power and love of God. A need to remind ourselves of God’s compassion for us. A gentle call to see His fondness, to forgive our doubt and impatience.
If You, O Lord, should mark iniquities,
O Lord, who could stand?
But with You there is forgiveness,
that You may be feared. (Psalm 130:3–4, ESV)
David, God’s chosen Psalmist, in his thirtieth prayer to our God. Admitted, without our Lord’s blessing and gift of forgiveness, all would fall before God Almighty.
During the time we spend waiting for our answer. We settle down with our Father, in quiet prayer time…
