Joy is Found in Jesus
You Have Reason To Rejoice!
Paul’s major theme in his letter to the Philippians is his portrait and love for Jesus Christ.
Paul showed us how Jesus willingly humbled Himself. “but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.” (Philippians 2:7) How God the Son lowered Himself from being One with God the Father. From being God the Word, who at the beginning, “All things were made through Him” (John 1:3) Jesus chose out of His love for you and me, for all of humanity. To humble Himself and become flesh. He chose utter obedience to God His Father.
Paul testified that because of Jesus’ obedience and humility. Because of Christ’s love and sacrifice for us. All people should praise Jesus. Bow before Him. This in turn glorifies God your Heavenly Father. (Philippians 2:10–11)
Having Jesus Christ as the foundation and Lord of your life. Jesus is the most powerful man to ever walk the roads of this earth. Yet, He freely chose to humble Himself out of complete obedience to His Father. Because of His love for you. For all of humanity.
