Reflection. Jesus Christ the Messiah. Jesus the Great I AM. Jesus the Lamb of God. We believe with all our hearts He lives forever more.

Scripture Readings: I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (Revelation 1:18, NIV)

But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him. (Acts 2:24, NIV)

We stand with Mary Magdelene at the empty tomb of Jesus Christ our Redeemer. We see our resurrected Saviour standing before us in all His glory. We see Jesus our beloved standing there with His hand reaching to us. We, with hearts breaking. See the scars where the Roman nails pierced His beloved wrists. We perceive the unconditional and never-ending love of God the Son in Jesus’ eyes. We stand with Mary. We see our resurrected Lord Jesus. We believe He lives forever more. We believe.

We whisper, as does Mary, “Raboni” (meaning Teacher). Our hearts sing of such wonder. Our hearts sing of such thankfulness. Our hearts whisper to Him of our unceasing love. You and I kneel before our resurrected Lord Jesus. In earnest prayer, we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour. We believe Almighty God rose His One and Only, Jesus from the dead. We live for eternity with our risen Lord Jesus. We praise and worship Jesus as God the Son. He forever more is Jesus our Saviour, Lord and God. Jesus our Lord, our Saviour, our God. He lives.

Our hearts remember His promise. I will “Rise.” There before us stands our risen Messiah. There before us is the One who suffered, bled and died, for us. There before us is the One who hung on His tree for us. There before us is Jesus our Lord, Saviour and God. We stand in awe and amazement. Jesus is the One who loves us to the point of death. He is alive. He stands before us. His tomb is empty now. He is alive forever more.

In our hearts, we remember all Jesus has taught us. In our hearts, we remember all His love. In our hearts, we remember what Jesus instructed Mary to do. To tell of His resurrection to the disciples. We pledge our lives to this task. To share Jesus and His resurrection with others. To preach to the world the wonder — the miracle. Jesus lives. God Almighty through His power and His love for mankind. Conquered sin, death and the power of temptation. Almighty God kept His promise to humanity. Almighty God after three days of darkness for His beloved son in His tomb. Almighty God rose Jesus from the dead. Jesus rose victorious over death. Jesus stepped from His tomb. He lives. Jesus lives forever more. He lives.

The risen Christ. Death has no power over God the Son.

Scripture Readings: For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. (Romans 6:9, NIV)

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:11, ESV)

Jesus’s resurrection from the dead fits Him to do what no one else can do. There is no one else like Him in all the universe. He is alive, and He is the one and only God-Man. What He is capable of you cannot imagine. And it is a healing wonder to contemplate that all the complex layers of your life, which neither you nor anyone else can understand, are familiar territory to Him. (John Piper, Desiring God Blog)

Our resurrected Lord Jesus does much more than wash us of our sins. This is a wonder in itself. Jesus has another wondrous gift of love. Once more life strikes us down. Once more we are on our knees before the heavenly throne of God. All we see around us is chaos and heartache. Jesus the Peacemaker gives us the peace needed. Jesus heals our hearts and souls. Jesus lives to give us the peace and love needed. He lives.

Jesus calms our hearts and heals our souls. Jesus lives and loves to bring our souls His peace and compassionate understanding. Jesus lives. Our hearts shine His peace for those caught in their turmoil. This world has so much chaos and heartache. Jesus lives to bestow His peace and love when we call out to Him.

Our resurrected Lord Jesus lives. Jesus is near to those who call on Him. The Son of God is near to them, who learn of Him through the Holy Word of God. In both the Old and New Testaments we read about Jesus. The entire Bible speaks of Jesus.

The Old Testament has many prophecies leading to the birth, life, mission, death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord. The New Testament is solely dedicated to Jesus, the Son of God. Jesus is the gift of love to all. The knowledge, wisdom and love of and about Him. We, as mere mortals, will never completely understand Jesus. The more we read the Bible. The closer to Jesus we become.

We hunger for the food of Jesus’ love. We thirst for the freshness of Jesus’ peace. Our hearts yearn for the knowledge and the wisdom of Jesus’ teachings and lessons. Our souls plead for the cleansing of Jesus’ forgiveness. With our whole being. We long to live for eternity in the Holy and loving presence of Jesus our Redeemer.

We do this by consistently and diligently reading the Holy Word of God. We live with Jesus by kneeling constantly before the Heavenly throne of God in prayer. We seek the loving presence of Jesus in humble obedience to His Commandments. We seek Jesus’ companionship by turning to God the Holy Spirit. For His guidance and teachings about Jesus. We believe. We always believe. Jesus lives. Jesus lives forever more!

David Archuleta’s powerful rendition. Touches our hearts. It helps us to remember that Jesus lives.

David Archuleta’s song “I Know He Lives” carries a powerful message of faith and hope.

David Archuleta, known for his soulful voice and heartfelt performances, released “I Know He Lives” as part of his music repertoire. The song’s lyrics testify to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, emphasizing that one doesn’t need to physically witness or touch Him to believe. Archuleta’s inspiration likely draws from his own faith and personal experiences. (Bing, 13/08/2024)
