Every heart becomes a beacon of peace and love for all mankind.
Reflection. This article studies the wondrous blessing and sacred gift of Jesus’ peace. He freely gives peace to those whose hearts are deeply troubled.
Scripture Reading: Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27, NIV)
In the Upper Room Discourse.
When our beloved Lord Jesus spoke this encouraging text. Jesus, knew all too well what His friends were facing. He knew His disciples would tackle increasing challenges. His cherished friends and many followers. Were facing insurmountable trials and heartbreaks.
It is true today still. All of Jesus’ followers face challenges and obstacles that bring sadness and heartache. Jesus is God the Son. God is love. Jesus loves each of us so very much. He wants to return peace to our hearts, souls and lives. All that is needed by us is absolute faith in Him. All we need to do to gain Jesus’ peace. Is to sincerely believe in Jesus. Believe deeply in the power of Jesus’ love. In our hearts and souls. Believe Jesus heals our hearts and souls with His love. Jesus’ love restores our peace. Such eternal peace.
