Jesus Christ Rose Again. Praise His Name Forever More
What a blessing of love this is. Believing in the Messiah brings eternal life.
Scripture Reading: Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live. (John 11:25, ESV)
Reflection. This article studies Jesus’ words. “ I am the Resurrection and the Life.”
These words of comfort and soothing peace are in Saint John’s Gospel. These words were spoken to Martha. Spoken to her by Jesus, her Lord. As she grieved the loss of her beloved brother Lazarus. ‘I am the resurrection.’ Martha did not know the true and miraculous meaning of Jesus’ words at the time. A short time later. Jesus performed His miracle.
Jesus spoke and Lazarus walked alive from his grave. Jesus replaced Martha’s grief with His love and comfort. This for me, is the true miracle. Martha’s grief was replaced with the love and comfort of Jesus the Lord.
Scripture Reading: When He had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
