In the Palm of God’s Hand. We are Safe and Loved Always
Our Heavenly Father keeps us safe and protected always. In the palm of His hand. We walk in His love.
On Eagle’s Wings.
You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord,
Who abide in His shadow for life.
Say to the Lord, ‘My Refuge
My Rock in Whom I trust.’And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn.
Make you to shine like the sun,
And hold you in the palm of His Hand.(Michael Jonas, 1970)
Introduction. The Holy Word of God conveys how very much our Father loves us. Walking daily in the loving presence of Almighty God. Holding so very tightly His righteous right HAND.
Scripture Reading: For I am the Lord your God,
who takes hold of your right hand,
and says to you, do not fear,
I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13, NIV)
God’s Holy Word speaks of you and I reaching out in love. Reaching out and holding tightly to God’s righteous right hand. Throughout our life. Our daily walk in the loving presence of God, our Heavenly Father. We live confidently as did king David. As he wrote of God’s reassuring presence always. How, Almighty God never leaves His faithful and obedient children. Reassuring us He is always there for us, as and when needed. No matter where we are. No matter the time or the circumstance.
Let us now dive a little deeper into this concept. God holds each one of His beloved people in the palm of His hand. When we were very young. It brought to us such comfort. Having our earthly parents always close at hand. Knowing if we fell and hurt ourselves. A loving hug and soft reassurance. Always just a soft call away.
So, it is with our Heavenly Father. He also is only a soft call away. This beautiful and loving phrase. God holds each one of His beloved people in the palm of His hand. Illustrates how very much our Heavenly Father cares for you and for me.
We are constantly close to His loving heart. Almighty God is always patiently listening to prayers ushered in love and in honesty. Our Creator, God is consistently paying attention to each and every one of our needs.

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11, NIV)
Our Heavenly Father desires all His beloved children to be happy in His care. Almighty God holds our hand. As we share our joy and our happy times with Him, always.
Scripture Reading: See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before me. (Isaiah 49:16, NIV)
Do you, as I wish to share our truly happy moments? Want to jump for joy when unexpected friends pop over. Simply because times of bliss are oh! so rare. God is waiting in His Heaven for us to say, “thank you.” For each precious moment of joy is a blessing. Every time of happiness is a gift from Almighty God. We share our happiness with the Person who gifted it to us.
We reach out and take the hand of God, our Father. As we sing to Him our praise of gratitude. We take God’s righteous right hand. As we jump for joy. We listen with our heart wide open. What is this we hear? God’s Heavenly angels are singing alongside us.
Scripture Reading: While the morning stars sang together, and all the angels shouted for joy? (Job 38:7, NIV)
So many times, we feel it is only in times of sadness and heartache. We need to reach out to our Heavenly Father. We neglect to include the One who loves us so in our happy moments. When in truth these are the days. The moments to include Him the most. For these moments are indeed gifts and blessings poured down from Heaven above.
Scripture Reading: Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from Him. These good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky. But God never changes like the shadows from those lights. He is always the same. God decided to give us life through the true message He sent to us. He wanted us to be the most important of all that He created. (James 1:17–19, ERV)
When we, just for a moment or two look into His heavens. See just how marvelous they truly are. We once more reach out for His hand. We hold tightly His hand. Usher a prayer of praise and of gratitude. For each light in His heavens speaks of God’s glory and of His magnificence.
As you and I tightly hold the righteous right hand of our Heavenly Father. We realize, we also are His precious and most beautiful creation. We are to God the Almighty the most important of all of His creations. We hold on even tighter. A solemn promise to our Heavenly Father we make. Dear Father, your hand we will never let go. NEVER! AMEN!
Such comfort we feel as we share these moments of joy and happiness. We want to share them with the world. So, we do.
Scripture Reading: For the Lord God is a sun and shield, the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11, ESV)
No better place in the Holy Word of God to feel the hand of God. The Book of Psalms, many of which are words of prayer and praise.
Scripture Reading: Nevertheless, I am continually with you, You hold my right hand. (Psalm 73:23, ESV)
For king David and the other psalmists truly knew how to sing of their joy to God Almighty. We can imagine king David reaching out his hand to Almighty God. As he penned his words of love and of praise. As he ran from his enemies in fear. As David shivered in his cave. Holding tightly the right hand of God. Believing with all his heart. For as long as he held the hand of God tightly. He was safe and was protected.

My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised,
And I am saved from my enemies. (Psalm 18:2–3, ESV)
You and I are so very loved by God Almighty. If in love and obedience. We reach out to take the righteous right hand of God.

- All the days of our life.
