In Prayer, You Draw Near to God
God in His gentle mercy. Beckons you. Through prayer to draw ever nearer to Him.
LET US DRAW NEAR TO ALMIGHTY GOD.
Draw near to God.
Is important that we get still to wait on God. And it is best that we get alone, preferably with our Bible outspread before us. Then if we will we may draw near to God and begin to hear Him speak to us in our hearts. (A.W. Tozer)
Reflection. Draw near to God. Only then will He speak to your heart.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8, ESV)
How to draw near to God? Faithful, honest and diligent prayer draws you ever nearer to Almighty God. In the busyness of your life, it is very easy to get distracted. Friends, family and work are important. As are so many other things in your life. You cannot. You must not forget what truly is important. Remember the One who truly is the centre of your existence. It is Almighty God, the One who created you. Almighty God is the One you take time to seek and draw near to. Take time to seek and draw near to your Lord God with an open and sincere heart.
