In Almighty God’s Presence. “In Life, in Death, O Lord Abide with Me.”

In this life and the next. In God’s loving presence, we safely abide.

Reflection. Heaven’s love fills our hearts and souls. Each day is glorious. We abide with Almighty God — ALWAYS.

Scripture Reading: You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence, there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:11, NIV)

Psalm 16:11 states: “You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.” This verse expresses the joyful satisfaction and confidence in God’s salvation, emphasizing the everlasting relationship between God and His people 123. We love the freshness of the young morning. The early morning speaks to our hearts of the love of the Creator God. The fresh dew on the grass in our small garden. Reminds us of the ever-freshness of God’s love and His unlimited blessings. The joyful and harmonic songs of His birds. As they merrily greet His early morning. The merriment of His birds as they playfully seek their breakfast. Recall to us. It is Almighty God. From all our provisions flow. It is Almighty God. Who keeps us company all through our day. It is Almighty God. His protective arm and shield keep us safe from harm.

We sing our favourite hymn of praise and love to our Father, God. We may turn on our Smart TV. Switch it to the YouTube channel and turn on our sweetest Gospel music. For me, for the last few days, it has been. Nathan Pacheco as he sings his heart and his love for Almighty God, “With His Love.” We also read God’s Holy Word and spend time with God in prayer. Once more our hearts and souls are overwhelmed by the love of our Heavenly Father.

The happiness in the hearts of God’s small and beautiful birds. The silent songs to their creator they sing. In the early morning.

We reflect the songs of these small creations of God. God the Creator is our only true and pure love. Almighty God is to be praised as He should be. In the early morning.

Almighty God makes known to us. The safety of His refuge and arms of love.

Scripture Reading: A Goodly Heritage.

Keep me safe, my God, for in You I take refuge. (Psalm 16:1, NIV)

The Psalms are one of the most cherished books of the Bible, cherished for their heartfelt expressions of faith, doubt, lament, and exultation. Each Psalm paints a vivid portrait of the human experience with the Divine, and Psalm 16 is no exception. (Bible Lyfe Blog)

What comfort and strength has poured forth from the book of Psalms into the hearts of so many believers, down through centuries of time. The love and devotion that spills out from this beautiful verse, in Psalm 16, warms the heart of all weary wanderers, as David joyfully displays his compelling confidence in His Lord, and writes of his utter trust in the God of his salvation. (Bible Lyfe Blog)

The Psalmist, David wrote this beloved psalm to invite all readers down through the ages. To open our hearts and souls to Almighty God. When we do so. We find the comfort and strength needed for all life throws at us. Reading of the life of David. We find it was a true mixture of tragedy and riches. David used his pen and his heart. To sing his praises and his love for God Almighty.

David through his Psalm invites all his readers to completely trust Almighty God. Trusting in Almighty God brings to our lives a level of unimaginable love we never knew before. Loving our Heavenly Father with all our hearts and souls. Brings to our hearts a level of companionship we never want to lose. Having absolute faith in the One who loves us with unbounded love. Makes us safe and loved forever more.

The love and devotion we feel as we read David’s Psalm. We take with us throughout our journey of faith. Abiding in the presence of Almighty God. Brings to our hearts and souls such sweet joy. A joy that spills over into our everyday lives. Simple pleasures we wish to share with all we meet along our way. David’s Psalm leads us to love Almighty God by loving others fully.

God commands us to love others as He loves us. We feel God’s love always. So we love others completely and always. When we care for and tend to the needs of others. We see briefly into their hearts. We see them as God Almighty does. We see how very special each one is to their Heavenly Father.

We treat each person we meet. As they are. A special and beloved creation of Almighty God. We pray for each person. Praying that Almighty God touches their heart with Jesus’ saving grace. The rest we leave to Almighty God. The prayer is for each person to find their way Home to the Kingdom of God.

Scripture Reading: So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in Him. (1 John 4:16, NIV)

My favourite three words in the English language. “God is love.”

Nathan once more pours all his love for Almighty God. As he performs this beloved and familiar hymn.

The classical tenor brings an enriching experience to the hymn, originally penned by Scottish Anglican cleric Henry Francis Lyte in 1847 as he battled tuberculosis. Lyte’s deeply personal lyrics convey a heartfelt prayer for God to stay present throughout life and in the face of death.

In a time when many seek comfort and inspiration, Nathan Pacheco’s mesmerizing performance of the classic hymn ‘Abide With Me’ offers a harmonious blend of faith and artistry. The classical tenor brings an enriching experience to the hymn, originally penned by Scottish Anglican cleric Henry Francis Lyte in 1847 as he battled tuberculosis. (FaithPot Blog, 06,09,2023)
