Sadly, ‘Little Lady’ is no longer part of my life. She is now and always will be in my heart and in my memories.
Her beautiful, big brown eyes. Spoke to me her amazing hymns of love. She was, as they say. A ‘person’ dog. Not too fond of other dogs. Just adored. Yes, you read me right. Just adored people.
To sit on a stranger’s lap, was just a normal part of our daily stroll through the park. To roll over onto her back. All four paws in the air. Her head outstretched. Her neck exposed for very young children to tickle, caress and yes, even a kiss here and there.
And, slippery dips. She just loved slippery dips. Couldn’t get enough of them. I could take up all the room. All the pages on Medium to speak of all of ‘Little Lady’s’ fun, games and exploits.
