Nature for us is always in the background! As I write these words. The wind is gusting his mighty power. Playing games with the branches and leaves. Knocking leaves, buds and flowers blissfully to the ground. Like petals at a wedding ceremony.
Showing off his mighty and awesome power. He echoes and whistles on our rooftops. He has chased away many of our beautiful birds from our gardens. Their songs. He has replaced with his mighty whistling and rustling in the branches.
He overpowers all other sounds. Or! So it seems. The birds are still singing their songs of love and happiness. Just not as many and at a further distance.
The neighbor’s cat is meowing his annoyance. Other than man-made noise. And, noise, it is. There appears to be silence. The mighty wind…
