God, the Holy Spirit, Leads You From the Darkness
Live in the Spirit. Obey the Holy Law of Almighty God.
“When the Spirit lives within you, any place can become a sanctuary. You just have to listen. You just have to pay attention.” (Rachel Held Evans)
LET GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT, BURN WITHIN YOUR HEART.
Reflection. You are a child of God. Almighty God placed His Spirit within your heart.
Scripture Reading:
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.” (Romans 8:14, NIV)
Do you appreciate how very much your Heavenly Father loves you? Do you? When Jesus offered you His most precious gift — salvation. You knelt before Jesus, your Lord and God. With humble words of confession, you accepted His gift with love. You accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour, Redeemer and God. At this very moment. Almighty God adopted you into His divine family. You are now and always shall be a child of God.
In the Book of Romans, Saint Paul tells you to live in the Spirit. Saint Paul encourages you to give your all to Almighty God. He implores you, in all things. Work and serve for the glory of God. Life, in an instant, has changed for you. You no longer live for yourself. From the moment of salvation till eternity. You live for Almighty God. You, from the moment of salvation. Love Almighty God with all your being and love others with all your heart.
The love that your Heavenly Father has for you is boundless and without conditions. Your Father reads your heart. Almighty God knows without question your deep love and profound need for Him. God’s love for you is gracious. On the times you stray. He patiently waits for your return. Through God’s grace, you are forgiven. By God’s love, you find your way Home.
Scripture Readings:
“Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5, ESV)
“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 ESV)
God has given you a gift beyond wonder. Almighty God has placed His Spirit into your heart. At the moment you accepted His beloved Son as your personal Saviour, your Lord and your God. God’s Spirit came to dwell within you. You are loved. You are truly loved by God. You now place your life under the control of God the Holy Spirit. You turn to God the Holy Spirit for His guidance, strength, comfort and His love.
Scripture Reading:
“Paul then gave the Galatians these encouraging words.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25. ESV)
God, the Holy Spirit, guides all faithful believers in many helpful ways.
Scripture Reading:
“When the Spirit of truth comes. He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13, ESV)
You acknowledge that Almighty God’s ways are far above yours. You honestly confess that without the guidance and teaching of God, the Holy Spirit. You are just a baby in the faith. You realise how vital it is to read often, God’s Holy Word. When doing so. You seek the guidance and teaching from God’s Spirit.
You have a teacher who knows deeply, intimately and personally all there is to know of and about Jesus. God, the Holy Spirit, has been with your Lord Jesus from eternity to eternity. God the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Holy Trinity. God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God, the Holy Spirit, is God. God, the Holy Spirit knows Jesus as you never will. God, the Holy Spirit, has a mission to teach you about Jesus. All that is required is to diligently seek.
Scripture Reading:
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 14:26, ESV)
Read the Holy Word of God. Offer a prayer to your Heavenly Father for the guidance of His Spirit. Remember, God’s wisdom and love are far above your understanding. Read God’s words of love. Your heart and mind are open to the understanding behind God’s words. Your heart and mind understand and are blessed by God’s Word. Your heart treasures the words of each verse you read. Your heart stores up each verse you read for use in times of temptation. Believe these verses give you the strength needed to fight the forces of darkness.
You stand on firm ground. With the precious Word of God in your heart. Satan and his forces of darkness will flee. The words of God you have stored in your heart. These are the weapons you use to fight the forces of darkness. The words of God you store in your heart. Give you the strength and the courage needed.
The Spirit of God is within. Giving you the strength, the comfort and the peace needed in times of temptation. God’s Spirit is within you in times of weakness. God’s Spirit is there to give you the comfort and help needed in your times of darkness. You walk in the light of God’s Spirit all the days of your life. You walk in light. You are a child of light.
You are a child of God. You are a child of light.
Scripture Readings:
“You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” (Luke 16:8, ESV)
“You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.” (1 Thessalonians 5:5, ESV)
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” (1 Peter 2:9, ESV)
