God Speaks Directly to Us
There is no more powerful voice than His: God’s words are words of love
God Almighty, God our loving Father speaks to our hearts directly.
Do you, as I do, have days when you say to yourself, “if only God would tell me what He wants me to hear.” The truth is God is never silent. God is always speaking directly to us. God is saying to us:
Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3, ESV)
The voice of God — What does the voice of God sound like?
This verse is key to hearing God’s voice. His promise comes with two strictures. Firstly, we must seek God. In other words, we look for our Father everywhere. The keyword here is “everywhere.”
When we are busy doing our daily chores. We pause throughout our day and look for God. Remembering He is here among our busyness. You see the hand of God in the small things. The pot plant on our kitchen shelf. Nature growing in our kitchen. God’s wonderland in a pot.
We look for God everywhere. When busy at work. We scan the faces of our work mates. We recall that each person is created in the very image and likeness of God the Creator. We look for God…
