God Never Leaves Us.
We have a God who loves us more than we will ever know.
WE HAVE A GOD WHOSE LOVE IS QUITE OVERWHELMING.
God’s love does not love that which is worthy of being loved, but it creates that which is worthy of being loved.” (Martin Luther)
Reflection. In the presence of Almighty God. We are loved. We become worthy of being loved by Him.
Scripture Reading: He IS love, and God’s love for you is intense, overwhelming, and never ceasing. “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” (1 John 4:18). God’s love for you is a perfect love. (Bing/25/01/2024)
We stand in absolute wonder and complete awe. We are in the presence of pure and perfect love. We are surrounded by such overwhelming love. All around us is sweet and perfect love. The wildflowers in the meadow we frequent. That fills even the saddest heart with the love of the Creator God. These wildflowers are made perfect and were made by love. The gentle rains refresh and renew our hearts and souls. We are abiding in the presence of perfect love. God is love. God is perfect. God is pure.
The sunrise that greets our mornings. These are gentle and pastel colours. Reflecting the soft and sweet love of its artist, God. The sunsets at the close of another day. The changing colours of this display from God. Seem to bid us, “good night.” We are blessed by Almighty God. By the melodious singing of God’s birds in our gardens. The soft and harmonious song of God’s birds. Such perfect and sweet notes fill the air and our hearts. The friends we meet along our way. Our family. The greatest gift of love of all. We stand in total bewilderment at the love of Almighty God.
We cannot count the ways that Almighty God has graced us with His merciful love. God’s love is beyond our imagination. His love is undeserved. Each of His people has turned our backs on the One who created him. We had forgotten we were made to love God. To love Him with all our hearts, souls, and minds.
Scripture Readings: So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (Colossians 3:17, ESV)
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Matthew 5:16, ESV)
For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. (1 Corinthians 6:20, ESV)
In every action. May it be done for the glory of God. In every word. Let them be to glorify the One who loves us to the point of death. Yes, God Himself died on the wicked and soul-saving cross that day. In each prayer. Let us thank God for His love and the many blessings He sends our way. God is love. We are comforted and are at peace in His loving embrace.
When we pray. Do we realise we are standing on Holy Ground? We are in the Holy presence of Almighty God.
We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on Holy Ground. (Brennan Manning)
Almighty God is perfect. Everywhere God is indeed Holy Ground. Do we appreciate what an honour it is to step into His Holy presence? Do we recognise what a privilege it is? To address the Creator of all there is as “Abba”, “Father.” Such intimate and personal forms of addressing the sovereign ruler of the entirety of creation.
The Lord Jesus taught us to pray:
Scripture Reading: Pray then like this:
Our Father in Heaven,
hallowed be Your name.
Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. (Matthew 6: 9–13, ESV)
Prayer is a priceless and precious gift from Almighty God. Each prayer grants us entry into the Holy presence of the Sovereign ruler of all there is. Almighty God created all there is and this includes you and me. When we pray. We do so with an attitude of reverence and awe. When we pray. We do so. With our hearts wide open to Him. Open to God’s love and forgiveness for our sins.
Hearts open to His compassion and wisdom gained through His Holy Word. We acknowledge that we are indeed standing upon Holy Ground. We do not take this lightly. We tread on this ground. Thanking Jesus for His gift of salvation. Without salvation, this would not be possible.
We are amazed that Almighty God loves us so. We are humbled that a person so undeserving should be loved by God. We are thankful that we are counted as God’s saints. We work hard every day. To spread the love of Almighty God to those we meet. We work tirelessly to share the good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. To tell those we love. Of the urgency for redemption and the forgiveness of sins. We shine the light of God’s love into the hearts of those we meet along our way.
We live only to serve Almighty God. In this way, we honour His faith in us. It is by caring for and tending to the needs of others. We show our thanks to Almighty God. For the privilege of standing on the Holy Ground of His presence. We show our appreciation for being welcomed onto the Holy Ground, that is the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom that has as its sovereign ruler, Almighty God.
Conclusion. God Never Leaves Us. We have a God who loves us more than we will ever know.
Next time we bow before Almighty God in prayer. The next time we step onto His Holy Ground. We whisper a few words of thankfulness for this honour granted to us. We are God’s beloved children. We are saved by the gift of Jesus — salvation. We step proudly and courageously onto this Holy Ground. Into the loving presence of Almighty Ground.
I hope that you appreciate the honour it is. To be in the Holy presence of the Supreme ruler of all there is. This is the true meaning of Almighty God. The ruler of everything. When we pray we are stepping onto Holy Ground.
“Never Alone” Reminds us we are with Jesus always.
The Meaning Behind The Song: “Never Alone”
The song’s lyrics and harmonic progression invite listeners on a reflective journey, exploring themes of love, companionship, and the power of connection.
“Never Alone” is a testament to the universal human experience of seeking solace, support, and understanding. The song’s essence lies in its ability to touch the hearts of those who have ever felt a longing for connection in times of loneliness and despair.
