Abide with Me
I need Thy presence every passing hour;
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s pow’r?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?

“Abide With Me.” We memorised this beloved hymn as a young child. Its lyrics run deep and true for us, still. When we are a little sad. It is this beautiful hymn. We quietly hum to bring God ever closer. When friends and family are far away. The words of this beloved hymn bring us comfort. When a loved one, returns home to her Father. It is this hymn that is played over her grave. For us, there is never a time or a reason. The lyrics and the meaning of this hymn. Do not fill our hearts and souls. “Abide With Me” reminds our hearts of the loving presence of Almighty God.
