God Listens and Answers to the Persistent Prayer, Every Time
The persistent prayer of Jesus’ followers is answered.
Parable of the Persistent Widow and Unjust Judge (Luke 18:1–8)
Prayer from our lips to God’s ears.
The lesson Jesus teaches, is the necessity for hope, patience, persistence and perseverance in our prayer to our Father in heaven. Prayer is the cornerstone of our relationship with God our Father. Prayer time is the very foundation of our spiritual life and our daily walk with Him.
One day Jesus told His disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. (Luke 18:1, NLT)
This parable has, as its central directive, that persistent prayer is answered. Yes, our heavenly Father answers all prayers of faithful believers in Jesus. Not always as we wish. Not always instantly. Yes, always.
Prayer from God’s perspective is natural and loving communication from His children. From our point of view, it can simply, yet profoundly change everything. How so? By seeing that God is watching over us and providing for all our needs. Life-changing, yes?
Answered prayer requires persistence and faithfulness to God. Our need to practice in constant prayer to our Father.
