God is Our Refuge, in His Presence We Will Abide Forever
“I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6, NIV)

This verse has been repeating itself in my mind for a day or so. Are you as me? Familiar with these words, but have never delved deeply into their message? Come with me and dive in as we seek God’s wisdom and truth. Is this repetition telling me something?
To David, God’s Holy presence is anywhere He is delighted in and loved. For David, God’s house is personally being with God. In other words, in the very presence of God.
Let us ponder on God’s house for a moment. God’s Holy and loving presence, is available to us at anytime, anywhere. Our Lord is just a trembling and quiet prayer away. How so? Because, God Almighty is omnipresent. He is at all places, at all times. WOW!!! More than that, He is really with us. In a meaningful and loving companionship.
I have times, may my Lord be praised, when God is so close. I sense I could reach out my hand and touch the glorious face of the One who loves me so. His presence is not overwhelming or frightening. God’s presence is. Just my loving Father being with His child, at a time when I need Him.
