God is Love. Shine His Light and Love into the Hearts of Others
Show the love of Almighty God to those who need our help.
Scripture Reading: God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. (Hebrews 6:10, ESV)
Reflection. Helping those who need our tender care and compassion. We are helping the people of God.
Scripture Reading: Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed. (Proverbs 19:17, ESV)
Helping others is a central theme in the Bible. We’re encouraged to show kindness and compassion to those in need. As God shows kindness and compassion to us.
The Holy Word of God tells us of times when God cared for those unable to help themselves. We read of Almighty God rescuing His chosen people from slavery. We see God parting the waters so the Israelites crossed on dry land to safety. We see God showing Noah how to build an Arc. We see the Arc rest in safety after the Great Flood. These and so many more wonders we read in the Bible. We read when God Himself cared for those in need. When God loved with love so deep and personal. When God cared for and tended to the needs of those who cried out for His help.
